The biography:
When this princess came of age, she governed with much wisdom, and established peace and good order in her kingdom; but, as she did not marry, the states sent her many warm solicitations on that subject. One day she freed herself from them, by saying, "I would rather direct you to a good prince, and a successor capable of holding with glory the reins of government. Do not force me then to marry; for I might as likely be mother of a Nero, as an Augustus."
