Kristina's letter to Princess Katarina, dated April 19/29 (Old Style), 1634

Seven year old Kristina wrote this letter to her/his/their aunt Princess Katarina on April 19/29 (Old Style), 1634, while she/he/they was trapped at Nyköping Castle in a nightmare life of darkness and her/his/their mentally ruined mother's extreme, constant mourning. At the time this letter was written, Kristina was just starting to learn French, which would become her/his/their preferred language of correspondence and writing as an adult.
