... You will have heard of the arrival of the queen Christina at Rome, and of her reception; she left her scepter and her crown at Loretto at the feet of our lady. ...

With modernised spelling:

Paris, January 19, 1656. [N. S.]

... You will have heard of the arrival of the Queen Kristina at Rome and of her reception; she left her scepter and her crown at Loreto at the feet of Our Lady. ...

French translation (my own; reconstruction of the original):

Paris, le 19 janvier 1656. [Nouveau style.]
Monsieur,
... Vous avez appris l'arrivée de la reine Christine à Rome et sa réception; elle a laissé son sceptre et sa couronne à Lorette aux pieds de Notre-Dame. ...

Swedish translation (my own):

Paris, den 19 januari 1656. [Nya stilen.]
Min herre,
... Ni kommer att ha hört talas om drottningen Kristinas ankomst till Rom och om hennes mottagande; hon lämnade sin spira och sin krona vid Loreto vid Vår Frus fötter. ...

Swedish translation (my own):

Paris, den 20 december 1655. [Nya stilen.]
Här finns inga andra nyheter än omvändelsen av Sveriges drottning, som har rest till Rom för att finna helighet och gudsfruktan där alla förlorar den. ...
