Prinsen av Paderborn, biskopen av Münster, gav henne sin medalj och sina verk. Drottning Kristina av Sverige hedrade henne med sina karesser, hennes porträtt, ett pensionsbrev, ofta med sina brev, alltid med sin uppskattning och till och med (om man vågar säga det) med sin vänskap.

English translation (my own):

... One has seen sovereigns prefer to recommend nothing to princes other than their children who came to France than for them to return to them without having seen Mademoiselle de Scudéry. The Prince of Paderborn, Bishop of Münster, presented her with his medal and his works. Queen Kristina of Sweden honoured her with her caresses, her portrait, a pension certificate, often with her letters, always with her esteem, and even (if one dares say it) with her friendship.
