Sereniss:o Rè. Il Zelo di V. M. verso la nostra Religione Cattolica è cosi singolare, che m'assicura, sarà per incontrar volontieri l'occasione che le sarà data da Monsig:r Nunzio di favorir alla medesima, a cui riportandomi nell' espressione de' miei sentimenti, mi restringo ad assicurar la M. V. ch'io me le professerò singolarmente tenuta, se si compiacerà d'accudir a quello di che, in mio nome, sarà pregata dall' istesso Monsig:r. Nunzio ed intanto mi confermo. D. V. M.

Le zèle de Votre Majesté envers notre religion catholique est si singulier qu'elle m'assure qu'elle saisira avec plaisir l'occasion qui lui sera donnée par Monseigneur le nonce de la favoriser, à laquelle, me référant dans l'expression de mes sentiments, je me restreins d'assurer Votre Majesté que je ferai profession d'être singulièrement tenue par elle, si elle veut bien s'occuper de ce qui, en mon nom, sera demandé par Monseigneur le nonce lui-même, et cependant je me confirme

de Votre Majesté.

Durchlauchtigaste Konung,

Ers Majestäts nit för vår katolska religion är så enastående att Ni försäkrar mig att Ni gärna kommer att möta den möjlighet som kommer att ges Er av monsignor nuntien att gynna den, till vilken jag, med hänvisning till mig själv i uttrycket av mina känslor, begränsar mig för att försäkra Ers Majestät att jag kommer att bekänna mig som ensam hållen av Er, om Ni gärna tar hand om det som i mitt namn kommer att begäras av monsignor nuntien själv, och emellertid bekräftar jag mig som

Ers Majestäts.

English translation (my own):

Most Serene King,

Your Majesty's zeal towards our Catholic religion is so singular that you assure me that you will gladly meet the opportunity that will be given to you by Monsignor the nuncio to favour it, to which, referring myself in the expression of my feelings, I restrict myself to assure Your Majesty that I will profess to be singularly held by you, if you will be pleased to take care of what, in my name, will be requested by Monsignor the nuncio himself, and in the meantime I confirm myself
