Madame ma Sœur, je me remets à ce que Monsieur le Nonce dira à V. M. de ma part, craignant de l'importuner, ou de l'ennuyer par de longs raisonnemens. J'espére que V. M. ne me refusera pas l'assistance que je vous demande auprès des Rois de Pologne & de Dannemarc, puisqu'il ne s'agit que de vous faire partager avec les plus grands Princes la gloire de travailler au service de Dieu & de son Eglise. Pour moi j'ai de la joie de pouvoir en cette occasion renouveller à V. M. les protestations d'une éternelle amitié, dont les nœuds sont étreints par la force de la nature, & par le devoir d'un sang qui est trop bon pour se démentir en aucune occasion. Je vous prie d'être persuadée de la tendresse qu'il m'inspirera toute ma vie pour V. M. & de ne pas douter des protestations que Monsieur le Nonce vous en fera de ma part, lorsqu'il vous assurera de la passion avec laquelle je suis,

Madame my Sister,

I go back to what the Nuncio will say to Your Majesty on my behalf, fearing to bother him or annoy him with long arguments. I hope that Your Majesty will not refuse me the assistance that I ask you from the Kings of Poland and Denmark, since it is only a question of making you share with the greatest princes the glory of working in the service of God and His Church. For me, I have the joy to be able on this occasion to renew to Your Majesty the protests of an eternal friendship, the ties of which are embraced by the force of nature, and by the duty of a blood which is too good for contradict themselves on no occasion. I beg you to be persuaded of the tenderness he will inspire me all my life for Your Majesty, and not to doubt the protests that the Nuncio will make to you on my part, when he assures you of the passion with which I am,
