Ce fut le même jour [le 8. Mars 1667.] qu'elle écrivit au Baron Pierre Sparre & au Comte Pontus de la Gardie, qu'elle avoit appris avec joye que le Roi les avoit choisis pour la recevoir sur les confins du Royaume, & qu'elle s'y rendroit sitôt que la saison seroit plus commode. ...
Peu de jours après, elle écrivit une Lettre au Prince de Moldavie à Stettin, lequel elle avoit fait mettre en possession de quelques Biens en Poméranie. Elle lui dit (Lettere a' suoi Ministri. p. 82.)..."
"The Queen then informed the Chevalier de Terlon, the ambassador of France to the King of Denmark, that, while awaiting the appropriate season to travel to Sweden, she hoped to see him in passing, as he had desired. ...
It was on the same day [March 8, 1667] that she wrote to Baron Per Sparre and to Count Pontus de la Gardie, saying that she had learned with joy that the King had chosen them to receive her on the borders of the kingdom, and that she would go there as soon as the season was more convenient. ...

Notes: Stettin is the German name for the city of Szczecin in what is now the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.
In accordance with the nobility's ideals in the early modern era, kings and queens considered themselves siblings; when talking to someone of a lower rank than their own, they would refer to that person as "my cousin", regardless of whether or not they were related.
Moldavia is a historical region and former principality in Central and Eastern Europe, corresponding to the territory between the Eastern Carpathians and the Dniester River. An initially independent and autonomous state, it existed from the 14th century to 1859, when it united with Wallachia. From 1618 until 1859 it was a vassal state of the Ottoman Empire (for the third time), with its capital being Iași in what is now Romania. The western half of Moldavia now belongs to Romania, the eastern side belongs to the Republic of Moldova, and the northern and southeastern parts, Chernivtsi Oblast and Budjak, are territories of the Ukraine.
