Avvisai i giorni passati a Vostra Eccellenza, come la Maestà della Regina di Suezia havea presa risolutione di lasciar la Corona. E siccome Ella persiste in questa opinione, non ostante le Supplicazioni in contrario degli Ufficiali del Regno, cosi fù sua Mtà pochi giorni sono a sette leghe di qui, nel qual viaggio ci ebbi l'honore di servirla all' abbocarsi, ed a notificar la sua intenzione a Sigr. Principe Palatino, a cui Ella conferirò il Regno, e per il qual' effetto la Dieta degli Stati è intimata qui al primo di Maggio prossimo futuro. In suggetto di quest' Abdicazione hà la Maestà sua scritto a Monsr. di Chanut, che è stato qui lungo tempo Ambasciatore di Francia, e che ora è Ambasciatore in Ollanda, una lettera, copia della quale viene qui annessa, e nella quale è scolpita più viva la virtù eroica, ed i grandi e sopranaturali sentimenti di questa Regina, che non la seppero mai esprimere gli ultimi discorsi d'un Socrate, d'un Seneca, o d'un S. Pavolo. Jo stò di giorno in giorno per partire di quà di ritorno alla Corte Cesarea, carico d'honori, di grazie e di regali dalla infinita clemenza di questa Maestà. Riverisco V. Ecc. &c.

English translation (my own):
I warned Your Excellency of the past days, as Her Majesty of the Queen of Sweden has made a resolution to quit the Crown. And since she persists in this opinion, notwithstanding the supplications to the contrary of the Officials of the Realm, so it was Her Majesty a few days from here, in which voyage I had the honour of serving her at our meeting, and to notify her intention to the Prince Palatine, to whom she will confer the kingdom, and for which effect the Riksdag of the Estates is hereby announced on May 1st in the near future. On the subject of this abdication, Her Majesty has written to Monsieur Chanut, who was here for a long time as ambassador of France, and who is now ambassador to Holland, a letter, a copy of which is attached here, and in which more long live the heroic virtue, and the great and supernatural sentiments of this queen, who never knew how to express the ultimate speeches of Socrates, of Seneca, or of St. Paul. Any day now I am leaving from here to return to the imperial court laden with honours, graces and gifts of the infinite clemency of Her Majesty. I revere Your Excellency, etc.
