Tariff preferences are granted to ships belonging to Swedish subordinates, built of oak in Sweden or its provinces and consisting of subordinates of the King of Sweden (some men may, however, be employed elsewhere) depending on the amount of the ship's defense equipment. Concessions are also granted to vessels purchased elsewhere or intended to be purchased before December 1, 1653, provided that they belong exclusively to the Kingdom of Sweden. The concessions do not apply to ports and cities where different tariffs did not previously apply.
