A Rosembac, le 1. Décembre 1668.
Monsieur de Rosembac, je suis heureusement arrivée à Rome, où j'ai trouvé deux de vos Lettres, savoir celles du 13. & du 17. d'Octobre, & j'ai reçu hier les Copies des Résolutions signées, qui m'ont donné toute la joye imaginable; vous assurant que je suis si satisfaite de vous, que j'aurai soin de vous en témoigner une reconnoissance digne des services que vous m'avez rendus dans cette Commission.
Vous m'avez envoyé aussi quatre Lettres du Roi en original cachetées, croyant peut-être qu'elles m'auroient trouvée à Hambourg, mais je les renvoyerai à son addresse, & s'il m'est possible je vous envoyerai par cette poste des Lettres pour le Roi & pour la Régence, afin de les remercier de leurs faveurs pour mes intérêts.
Vous aurez appris de mon Résident Texeira les nouvelles qu'on avoit écrites de Suède à Gammal touchant les arrentes de mes biens; mais puisque vous ne m'en dites rien (car je vois les depêches de mes affaires) je n'en crois rien: en tout cas je suis persuadée que vous employerez tout votre esprit pour y remédier, faisant connoître la grande injustice que l'on me feroit si l'on vouloit m'empêcher la libre disposition de mes Biens, & servez-vous des Kurques, & de mes amis en cas que l'on prétende renverser ce que j'ai fait pour la sûreté de mes Revenus.
Ne partez pas de Stockholm avant que d'avoir exécuté tous les ordres que je vous ai donnés dans mes précédentes, & d'avoir bien établi toutes choses, sur-tout celles de Mumma, & ce qui regarde le payement des dettes liquides de la Couronne, & la liquidation du reste de mes prétentions; tâchant d'en avoir après la liquidation, & les assignations du payement. Dieu vous conserve.

Till Rosenbach, den 1 december 1668.
Herr von Rosenbach, jag har lyckligt kommit till Rom, där jag har funnit två av Era brev, nämligen de av den 13 och 17 oktober, och jag mottog i går kopiorna av de undertecknade resolutionerna, som gav mig all tänkbar glädje, försäkrande Er att jag är så nöjd med Er att jag skall se till att visa Er en tacksamhet värdig de tjänster Ni har gjort mig i denna kommission.
Ni har också skickat mig fyra brev från Konungen förseglade och i original, kanske Ni tror att de skulle ha funnit mig i Hamburg, men jag skall skicka tillbaka dem till hans adress, och om möjligt skickar jag Er med denna post brev till Konungen och till förmyndarregeringen, för att tacka dem för deras tjänster för mina intressen.
Ni kommer att ha fått veta av min resident Texeira nyheten som hade skrivits från Sverige till Gammal angående arrentes av min egendom; men eftersom Ni icke säger mig något om det (ty jag ser mina affärers försändelser) tror jag ingenting på det; i vilket fall som helst är jag övertygad om att Ni kommer att använda allt Ert förstånd för att råda bot på det och göra känt den stora orättvisa som de skulle göra mig om de ville hindra mig från att fritt förfoga över mina varor och använda Kurckarna, och av mina vänner i fall att man låtsas vända på vad jag har gjort för min inkomsts skull.
Lämna inte Stockholm förrän Ni har verkställt alla de befallningar jag givit Er i mina tidigare brev och har gjort upp allt, särskilt Mummas, och vad som gäller betalningen av Kronans likvida skulder och likvidationen av resten av mina fordringar, försöker ha några efter likvidationen, och betalningsuppdragen. Gud bevare Er.

English translation (my own):
To Rosenbach, December 1, 1668.
Lord von Rosenbach, I have happily arrived in Rome, where I have found two of your letters, namely those of the 13th and 17th of October, and I received yesterday the copies of the resolutions signed, which gave me all imaginable joy, assuring you that I am so satisfied with you that I will take care to show you a gratitude worthy of the services you have rendered me in this commission.
You have also sent me four letters from the King sealed and in original, perhaps believing that they would have found me in Hamburg, but I will send them back to his address, and if possible I will send you by this post letters for the King and for the regency, in order to thank them for their favours for my interests.
You will have learned from my resident Texeira the news that had been written from Sweden to Gammal concerning the arrentes of my property; but since you tell me nothing about it (for I see the despatches of my affairs) I believe nothing of it; in any case I am persuaded that you will use all your mind to remedy it, making known the great injustice that the they would make me if they wanted to prevent me the free disposal of my goods, and make use of the Kurcks, and of my friends in case that one pretends to reverse what I have done for the safety of my income.
Do not leave Stockholm until you have executed all the orders I gave you in my previous letters, and have settled all things, especially those of Mumma, and what concerns the payment of the liquid debts of the Crown, and the liquidation of the rest of my claims, trying to have some after the liquidation, and the assignments of payment. God preserve you.
