Arckenholtz's transcript of the postscript (abridged, in his French translation from Italian):

English translation (my own):

The Father Prior will remember to represent to Your Majesty that the help of the Duke of Neuburg, the Prince de Condé, Prince Charles of Lorraine, and the Muscovite, whose interests have made a great dent in the feelings of this nation, is awaited by the great adherence that some of them have won, above all by the quantity of money that all are promised, some more, others less, to distribute to those of the opposite party to attach them to theirs, and because of the advantageous offers they make to the Republic. It does not seem prudent to open one's mouth about Your Majesty until the interests of the contestants are so scrambled that one begins to despair of their success; otherwise, in every other instance, each of the contestants shall prevail doubtless on Your Majesty, who, besides the obstacle of your sex and the lack of inheritance, does not have the convenience of making any offer, either to the Republic or to individuals, although your personal quality and other considerations make you very much superior to all the others.

Polish translation of the original (my own; I cannot tag it as such due to character limits in the tags):

Wysyłam z nim ten list, aby mógł on dotrzeć szybciej i bezpieczniej.

English translation of the original (my own):

Sacred Royal Majesty,
With the enclosed cipher, I satisfy what has been said in response to Your Majesty's most gracious letter of the 24th of last month; and, since the other letter, dated the 31st of the same month, arrived yesterday evening, and due to the constant occupations that oppress me, I have not yet been able to decipher it, and I deny that I can entrust it to others. For now, I can only reveal this to you, as I reverently acknowledge the receiving, reserving the right to make up for it with the following letters, which (and the others to come) I will send to Rome, under cover, to Monsignor the Cardinal Azzolino, having received the notice Your Majesty has deigned to give me of your departure from there [Hamburg], this time for the first of October.

Father Prior Hacki has communicated to me the precise order he has from Your Majesty to go there immediately, and to this end he is leaving today; and with him I am sending this letter so that it may arrive more quickly and safely.

Your Majesty will obtain the state of these affairs from the same father, both by mouth and from the content of the enclosed documents. Therefore, I have no other choice than to add that I consider the return of the same Father to be extremely necessary.

Since I believe that the whole matter lies in keeping the secret of releasing some notes in due time, in conveying some confidential message, and similar operations, no one can better act as a father than without making others a participant. Furthermore, the same father will be able to help me to relay Your Majesty's letters when my duties increase, as is credible in these circumstances, to also inform Your Majesty of what is necessary in more detail than I could, and finally to be a good witness of my operations before Your Majesty, to whom I bow without further ado. From Warsaw, September 13, 1668.
Your Majesty's
most humble servant
The Archbishop of Corinth.

The Father Prior remembered to represent to Her Majesty that, given the participation of the Duke of Neuburg, the Prince de Condé, Prince Charles of Lorraine, and the one of Muscovy, whose interests have made a great impression on the minds of these peoples because of the great support some of them enjoy — and, above all, because of the amount of money that all of them have ready, more or less, and the fact that they are making advantageous offers to the Republic, — it does not seem that prudence requires that a word be said of Her Majesty until the interests of the aforementioned are disabled to a point of desperate success, since in such concurrence, without any doubt, each of the aforementioned men will prevail over Her Majesty, who, apart from the exceptions of her sex and her lack of succession, is not in a position to make any offering either to the Republic or to private individuals, even though her personal qualities and other considerations make her far superior to all the others.

That the briefs of Our Lord and the letters of Her Majesty, by the express orders for the senators, are most necessary, since without them no credence would be given to the expositions of Monsignor the Nuncio.

Clément IX. Pape: A notre très-
chére Fille en Christ, Salut & Béné-
diction Apostolique.

Pope Clement IX.
To Our beloved daughter in Christ, greetings and apostolic blessing.
Your Majesty's merit and singular virtue, of which you have given such striking proofs to the world, and of which We make such a great deal of credit, have led Us to cooperate in what the zeal for the general good of Poland has demanded of Us. We would like the disposition of this affair to depend entirely on Us, in order to be able to conclude this negotiation with as much ease and promptitude as We have undertaken it.

It is only to yourself that Your Majesty is indebted for this paternal eagerness. We believe what you say without difficulty, and that, whatever the event, the tranquility of your royal soul and your affection towards Us will always be the same. The great generosity which was able to cause Your Majesty to abandon the kingdoms which you possessed in order to consecrate yourself to God can still much more easily conform to the Divine Will in the acquisition of another which could well increase your fatigues, but in no way your splendour or your greatness.

We have learned from the Marquis del Monte, with great pleasure, of Your Majesty's good health and your soon return, which We greatly desire. In this and in every other instance We wish Your Majesty every kind of prosperity, and affectionately impart to you Our apostolic blessing. Given in Rome at Santa Maria Maggiore, September 21, 1668, in the second year of Our pontificate.

Papież Klemens IX.
Naszej najukochańszej Córce w Chrystusie składamy serdeczne pozdrowienia i błogosławieństwo apostolskie.

French translation (by Arckenholtz; I have fixed a typo):

Clément IX. Pape, Vénérables Fré-
res, Nobles & Chers Fils salut.

Septembre 1668. & la seconde année de notre Pontificat.

English translation (my own):

Pope Clement IX.
Venerable Brothers, Nobles, and dear Sons, greetings.
Considering assiduously, and rolling in Our mind, what would be the most preferable way to choose a Catholic king in these difficult times who can contribute most effectively to the good of the Kingdom of Poland, We finally stopped at this feeling, that in the present state of affairs, We believe We can best achieve this good, if the voices and wishes of those who compose the Council, should unite in the person of Queen Kristina Alexandra, so known for her piety, for her prudence, and by her utterly masculine and heroic intrepidity.

It is not that she embraced the Catholic religion in order thereby to gain a Crown, but what is very rare, and what the world has admired the most, is that she is dismissed, by her own motion, from a kingdom which she possessed peacefully, for the sole purpose of living as a good Catholic, above all human grandeur. Even if one considers the manner in which she governed her kingdom, one will notice that she displayed there gloriously, and for a long time, all the virtues which are required of the best of kings, who command the bravest captains: and certainly, whoever will consider the great heart of this excellent queen, even with regard to the affairs which concern the soldier, her patience in bearing all the fatigues of the body, and her admirable diligence in work, as well as the strength of her great mind, that nothing can bring down — I say that whoever will consider all these things will discover nothing in her which makes one wish that she was of the other sex. This is why the tutelage of this noble kingdom would not be exposed to an uncertain fate, but by entrusting it to her, it would be placed into the hands of a person who, full of stale senses and of a judgment that one cannot deny her, has already given so many proofs of her high capacity. And what deserves no less esteem in her is that she is of the Jagiellonic line; and as for Catholicity, she is now the sole member of her royal family, which has happily given Poland excellent and esteemed kings to the greater good of that kingdom for more than eighty years; so that if the Estates assembled in the Council, to mark their generous gratitude and their ordinary constancy, followed in this meeting their praiseworthy custom, of generously preferring the kinship of the last king, the other competitors, each in particular, would support it more willingly and prefer to give her the Crown, than if it were given to someone else.

This, then, venerable Brothers, Nobles, and beloved Sons, is what We have thought fit to suggest to you. We have done this with no other intention than for the sake of the Orthodox religion and your general good. We know the Queen so intimately, and her pious and favourable sentiments for the Holy Creed, for the advantages and the increase of all Christianity, of which We have had such incontestable proofs, that We could guarantee you her great piety, justice and beneficence, finally of a future reign in all respects as accomplished as the human condition would allow. As for the rest, the venerable Brother, Archbishop of Corinth, Our Nuncio, will explain it to you more particularly. We wish you, venerable Brothers, Nobles, and beloved Sons, the spirit of good counsel and of perfect union, which He who is in the midst of those who are assembled in His holy name has promised them; We part with you with the best wishes of Our heart, and from Our paternal love and apostolic blessing. Given in Rome, at Santa Maria Maggiore under the Ring of the Fisherman, September 8, 1668, and the second year of our pontificate.

Arckenholtz's transcript of the letter (slightly abridged and in his French translation from Italian):

English translation (my own):

I am persuaded that you will already have in your hands the Pope's brief addressed to the Republic, for my election, in very strong and very pressing expressions. I flatter myself that you will lack nothing on your side to cooperate diligently for the good success of the negotiation, especially since your fortune depends on mine, being very certain that the other competitors have pledged themselves for that of Monsieur de Béziers.

As for the two letters which you deem necessary for me to write to the Senatorial Order, you will have the kindness to inform me of the style which must be observed, and in what language they must be written, especially if it would not be not suitable to write them in French, a language in which I could take a better turn because of the titles and courtesies. I warn you, moreover, that as I must stop here again to wait for some resolution from Sweden, until the 20th of October, you can address me while waiting for your dispatches here, because after that day I will not delay my departure for Rome.

Au nonce de Pologne.
Hambourg, le 28 septembre '68. —

Do Nuncjusza Polski.

To the Nuncio of Poland.
Hamburg, September 28, '68. —
The Father Prior arrived this morning along with the post and has returned Your Lordship's letters, which I will respond to more conveniently upon the Prior's return there. I persuade myself that you will now have in your possession the brief from His Holiness addressed to the Republic regarding my election, having received the very strong communication from Rome that has been sent to you. I therefore hope that you will not fail to work with application for the success of the affair, especially since Your Lordship's fortune depends on mine, for it is quite certain that the other competitors have pledged themselves for that of Monsieur de Béziers.

Concerning the two letters that Your Lordship deems necessary that I write to the Senatorial Order, and for which I beg you to send me information on the style that should be used in the courtesies and in what language they should be written, especially if it would not be inconvenient to write them in French, the which language would be more suitable for me out of respect for the titles.

I do not doubt that Your Lordship will have considered that the letter sent on these two obstacles is intended only for your information and not to be released to outsiders. The necessity of awaiting some resolution from Sweden regarding my affairs has made me defer my departure from here until October 20, but infallibly by that time [...], whereupon you will be able to continue sending your letters [...] directly to Rome; and, thanking you for your zeal in favouring me, I wish you, etc.

I will tell you why I cannot see Queen Kristina; there is no place in the world more intrusive for the ceremony than this, which is why I receive no visitors, although Constable Collona often comes here, but without any ceremony except that of giving me the title of Serene Highness and the same to Monsieur my husband, without his claiming that of Excellency and without it being seen whether Monsieur my husband gives him the step at home or not. Madame his wife is in childbirth, otherwise she would have already been here in the same way, without me receiving her or accompanying her.
