The letter:

Vous ne pourrez jamais me rendre un service plus importante que de conclure le contract incontinemment, car je souhaiterois que tout soit arrêté pour la St. Michel prochaine: car je ne puis me résoudre à partir d'ici sans voir éxécuter l'ordre que je vous ai donné pour cela. Je veux aussi que vous fassiez paîer à Stropp la sottise qu'il fait de prêter mon argent contre l'ordre que je lui ai donné, car je ne suis nullement d'humeur à la lui pardonner.

English translation (my own):

You will never be able to do me a more important service than to conclude the contract immediately, because I would like everything to be stopped for the next St. Michaelmas, as I cannot bring myself to leave here without seeing the order that I have given you for it be executed. I also want you to make Stropp pay for his foolishness in lending my money against my order, because I am in no mood to forgive him.
