The poem:

O Si l'Arte llegara!
Por medio del pincel mas excelente
Del animo a copiar las perfeciones,
Puesto que fuera tan confusamente,
Como las del semblante nos declara;
Quanto mas el retrato s'estimara.
CRISTINA de las Arcticas Regiones
La Cristiana Belona,
Diuina Musa, soberana Gracia,
Las mas rebeldes Almas aprisiona
Con amable violencia,
Sin que tenga lugar la resistencia,
En laços de dulcissima eficazia:
Yen ygual competencia
Sus ojos, sus discursos, sus acciones,
Triumfan de los mas libres coraçones.

English translation (my own):

Oh if art came!
By means of the most excellent brush
To copy the perfections of the spirit,
Because it was so confusedly,
As those of the countenance declare to us;
How much more the portrait will be esteemed.
Kristina of the Arctic regions
The Christian Belona,
Divine muse, sovereign grace,
The most rebellious souls imprison
With kind violence,
Without resistance taking place,
In sweetly effective ties:
And in equal competition
Her eyes, her speeches, her actions,
They triumph from the freest hearts.
