Il présentera au Nonce Apostolique les Lettres de créance que la Reine lui a données pour lui, & lui communiquera cette Instruction, & suivra en tous les ordres qu'il en recevra.
Il remontrera audit Nonce, que la considération que Sa Majesté a toujours eue pour le Roi de Pologne, comme l'Ainé de sa Maison, l'a empêchée jusqu'ici de prétendre à la Succession de cette Couronne, & que l'ayant toujours respecté comme un second Pére, elle n'auroit jamais pu se résoudre à y prétendre durant sa vie sans charger sa conscience d'une espéce de crime, qui auroit imprimé une notable tache à la haute générosité dont elle fait profession: mais ayant appris la résolution de ce Roi, & qu'il est sur le point d'exécuter pour quitter la Couronne & la mettre entre les mains de la République, le devoir de sa naissance l'oblige de se présenter à ladite République parmi la foule de Pretendans qui présentement briguent ce Trône de toutes parts. Sa Majesté les surpassant tout & en naissance, & peut-être en mérite, elle croit pouvoir, sans offenser la République, y prétendre, & croit devoir tenter la fortune pour voir ce qu'il plaîra à Dieu d'en ordonner.
Pour cet effet elle a son recours au Nonce Apostolique, ne pouvant se résoudre à mettre ses intérêts, ses espérances, ni sa fortune en d'autres mains qu'en celles de Sa Sainteté; & comme elle espére de l'avoir favorable en cette occasion, elle estime cet honneur plus que la possession de la Couronne même.
La Reine prie donc le Nonce Apostolique de vouloir faire souvenir la République que Sa Majesté est la seule qui reste en vie de la Maison Royale de Suède & de Pologne: Qu'elle n'auroit jamais quitté la Couronne de Suède, si la Suède eût été un Royaume Catholique, ou qu'il y eût en alors quelque apparence de le faire devenir tel: Qu'on lui feroit une injustice de lui préférer quelque Etranger, moins digne qu'elle d'occuper le Trône de ses Ancêtres: Qu'il est de l'intérêt de la République d'élire la Reine, parce que Sa Majesté n'étant ni en âge ni de volonté à se marier jamais, & par conséquent sans suite ni descendans, elle n'a rien à craindre pour sa Liberté, & qu'après la mort de la Reine elle pourroit être en état de choisir telle autre Maison qu'elle voudroit. La Reine croyant s'acquitter de son devoir de faire souvenir la République de toutes ces favorables vérités, elle abandonne le succès à la Providence Divine, & l'attend avec une entiére tranquillité.
Ce sont à peu près les considérations dont on pourroit se servir pour favoriser l'Election de Sa Majesté. La sagacité & la prudence du Nonce lui en fourniront peut-être aussi d'autres.
Il faut se donner de garde que l'Ambassadeur de France, ni les Ministres de Suède, ou d'Autriche, ne pénétrent rien à cette Négociation; car la Reine ne se fie, ni aux uns ni aux autres sur ce chapitre, tous les trois ayant intérêt à l'empêcher; & elle est persuadée que quand même, contre les apparences, les uns & les autres se mettroient en devoir de l'assister, leur assistance ne pourroit que lui nuire; aussi la Reine a-t-elle un cœur si préoccupé d'orgueil & de fierté, qu'elle ne veut devoir sa fortune qu'à Dieu, à son Vicaire, & à la République.
En cas que le Nonce Apostolique eût reçu de Rome des ordres contraires à tout ceci, & que Sa Sainteté se trouvât engagée en faveur de quelqu'autre des Pretendans, on se dédit de bon cœur de toutes ces propositions, & on prie ledit Nonce de n'en parler jamais. Cependant il faut qu'il sache qu'on en écrira à Rome, pour avoir des ordres favorables, qui sont nécessaires pour réussir heureusement dans une affaire de cette importance.
Le Pére sollicitera cette affaire auprès du Nonce avec soin & application, & prendra de lui les ordres & informations requises, & fera rapport à S. M. de la disposition des choses, & l'informera de tout ce qui pourroit être ou favorable ou contraire à l'intention de la Reine. On attendra cependant les avis de Monsieur le Nonce, & l'on se réglera en tout selon la direction qu'il donnera.
La Reine a voulu confier à la fidélité du Pére Hacki cette Commission, à laquelle il doit travailler avec le dernier secret, l'ayant reçue de S. M. sous le sceau de la Confession, pour n'être communiquée que selon les ordres de cette Instruction, laquelle S. M. a voulu signer de son nom & de sa main Royale pour l'autoriser pleinement. Fait à Hambourg ce 4. Juillet 1668.

Han skall överlämna till den apostoliske nuntien de kredensbreven som Drottningen har givit honom för honom, och skall meddela den här instruktion till honom och skall följa alla befallningar han får från dem.
Han skall visa nämnde nuntien att den hänsyn som Hennes Majestät alltid har haft för Konungen av Polen, såsom den äldste i hans hus, hittills har hindrat henne från att göra anspråk på denna Kronas arv, och att hon alltid har respekterat honom som en andre far, hon skulle aldrig ha kunnat förmå sig att göra anspråk på det under sin livstid utan att belasta sitt samvete med ett slags brott, som skulle ha stämplat en anmärkningsvärd fläck på den höga generositet som hon bekänner sig till. Men efter att ha fått kännedom om denna Konungs beslut, och som han är i färd med att verkställa att lämna Kronan och lägga den i Republikens händer, förpliktar hennes födelseplikt henne att presentera sig för nämnda Republiken bland skaran av pretendenter som för närvarande strävar efter denna tron från alla håll. Hennes Majestät, som överträffar dem i allt och i födelse, och kanske i förtjänst, tror att hon kan, utan att kränka Republiken, göra anspråk därpå, och tror att hon måste pröva lyckan för att se vad det skall behaga Gud att förordna.
För detta ändamål har hon tillgripa den apostoliska nuntien, oförmögen att förmå sig att lägga sina intressen, sina förhoppningar eller sin förmögenhet i andra händer än i Hans Helighets; och då hon hoppas få det gynnsamt vid detta tillfälle, uppskattar hon denna ära mer än att äga Kronan.
Drottningen ber därför den apostoliska nuntien att påminna Republiken om att Hennes Majestät är den enda som finns kvar i Sveriges och Polens kungahus.
Att hon aldrig skulle ha lämnat Sveriges Krona, om Sverige hade varit ett katolskt rike, eller om det då fanns någon sken av att göra det till ett sådant.
Att det vore en orättvisa mot henne att föredra att någon utlänning, mindre värd än henne, skulle ockupera sina förfäders tron.
Att det ligger i Republikens intresse att välja Drottningen, eftersom Hennes Majestät varken är i rätta åldern eller av vilja att gifta sig, och följaktligen utan ättlingar eller efterkommande, har hon ingenting att frukta för sin frihet, och att hon efter sin död kanske kunna välja sådant annat hus som hon tyckte om. Drottningen tror att hon uppfyller sin plikt att påminna republiken om alla dessa gynnsamma sanningar, och hon överlåter framgången till den gudomliga försynen och väntar på den med fullständigt lugn.
Dessa är ungefär de överväganden som skulle kunna användas för att gynna valet av Hennes Majestät. Nuntiens klokhet och klokhet kommer kanske också att förse henne med andra.

I händelse av att den apostoliska nuntien mottog befallningar från Rom i strid med allt detta, och att Hans Helighet fann sig engagerad till förmån för någon annan av friarna, avsäger vi oss villigt alla dessa förslag, och vi ber nämnda nuntius att aldrig tala om det. Han måste dock veta att de skall skriva till Rom för att få gynnsamma befallningar, som är nödvändiga för att lyckas lyckligt i en fråga av denna betydelse.

English translation (my own):
He will present to the Apostolic Nuncio the credentials that the Queen has given him for him, and will communicate this instruction to him, and will follow all the orders he receives from them.
He will show the said Nuncio that the consideration which Her Majesty has always had for the King of Poland, as the eldest of his house, has hitherto prevented her from claiming the succession of this Crown, and that having always respected him like a second father, she would never have been able to bring herself to lay claim to it during her lifetime without burdening her conscience with a kind of crime, which would have stamped a notable stain on the high generosity of which she professes. But having learned of the resolution of this King, and which he is about to execute to leave the Crown and place it in the hands of the Republic, the duty of her birth obliges her to present herself to the said Republic among the crowd of pretenders who presently aspire to this throne from all sides. Her Majesty surpassing them in everything and in birth, and perhaps in merit, she believes that she can, without offending the Republic, lay claim to it, and believes she must try fortune to see what it will please God to ordain.
For this purpose, she has recourse to the Apostolic Nuncio, unable to bring herself to place her interests, her hopes, or her fortune in other hands than in those of His Holiness; and as she hopes to have it favourable on this occasion, she esteems this honour more than the possession of the Crown itself.
The Queen therefore begs the Apostolic Nuncio to remind the Republic that Her Majesty is the only one who remains alive of the Royal House of Sweden and Poland.
That she would never have left the Crown of Sweden, if Sweden had been a Catholic kingdom, or if there was then some appearance of making it such.
That it would be an injustice to her to prefer some foreigner, less worthy than her to occupy the throne of her ancestors.
That it is in the interest of the Republic to elect the Queen, because Her Majesty being neither of age nor of will ever to marry, and consequently without descendants, she has nothing to fear for her freedom, and that after the Queen's death she might be able to choose such other house as she liked. The Queen believing that she is fulfilling her duty of reminding the Republic of all these favourable truths, she leaves success to Divine Providence, and awaits it with complete tranquillity.
These are approximately the considerations which could be used to favour the election of Her Majesty. The sagacity and prudence of the Nuncio will perhaps also provide her with others.
It must be ensured that the French ambassador, nor the ministers of Sweden or Austria, do not penetrate anything into this negotiation; for the Queen trusts neither one nor the other on this matter, all three having an interest in preventing it; and she is persuaded that even if, contrary to appearances, some and all of them set themselves to assist her, their assistance could only harm her; also, the Queen has a heart so preoccupied with pride that she wishes to owe her fortune only to God, to her vicar, and to the Republic.
In the event that the Apostolic Nuncio received orders from Rome contrary to all this, and that His Holiness found himself engaged in favour of any other of the suitors, we willingly renounce all these proposals, and we ask the said Nuncio to never talk about it. However, he must know that they will write to Rome to obtain favourable orders, which are necessary to succeed happily in a matter of this importance.
The Father will solicit this matter from the Nuncio with care and application, and will take from him the orders and information required, and will report to Her Majesty the disposition of things, and will inform her of anything that may be either favourable or contrary to the intention of the Queen. We will, in the meantime, wait for the advice of the Nuncio, and we will settle everything according to the direction he gives.
The Queen has wished to entrust to the fidelity of Father Hacki this commission, on which he must work with the utmost secrecy, having received it from Her Majesty under the seal of confession, to be communicated only according to the orders of this instruction, which Her Majesty has gladly signed with her name and her royal hand to fully authorise it.
