"Il n'y eut pas jusqu'aux Princes & aux Cardinaux d'Italie, qui ne prirent part à cette satisfaction de la Reine, & ne se rejouirent de son heureux retour à Rome. Voici cinq Réponses de complimens de felicitation, que nous avons trouvé dans nos Recueils."

Je remercie cependant Votre Éminence de l'avoir assurée que je ne manquerai aucune occasion où je pourrai démontrer l'un et l'autre dans les travaux, car je me suis plus pleinement déclarée auprès du même ambassadeur auquel je m'en remets, et je me confirme. Note: Kristina wrote this letter to Cardinal Leopoldo de' Medici (1617-1675), who was one of the brothers of Ferdinando II de' Medici, the Grand Duke of Tuscany (1610-1670). Their brother Giancarlo (born 1611) had passed away in 1663.
