Dalla prima godo d'intendere che il re sia per corrispondere alla confidenza avutasi da me nel suo zelo verso i vantaggi della nostra religione in queste parti, restando io tenuta a Vostra Serenità della particolare applicazione con che gl'ha portate le mie instanze; e m'obbligherà anche più singolarmente con insister che quanto prima vengano spedite le lettere ed in forma efficace.
Nell'altra mi porta Vostra Serenità l'espressione de' suoi sentimenti per le mie prosperità nel Santo Natale, de' quali la ringrazio al pari del desiderio ch'io tengo ben particolare delle sue, riserbandomi a darle ogni più chiaro rincontro nell'opere della volontà mia verso di lei quando mi se ne offerisca l'occasione; ed intanto Nostro Signore le conceda felici avvenimenti.

Je vous remercie de votre application particuliére à seconder mes instances, & vous m'obligerez encore plus, en insistant que les Lettres demandées soient expédiées au-plutôt & dans des termes efficaces.
English translation (my own):
I thank you for your particular application in assisting my instances, and you will oblige me even more by insisting that the letters requested be sent as soon as possible and in effective terms.

Au Nonce d'Espagne, audit jour.
Monseigneur,
J'ai reçu deux lettres de Votre Sérénité, datées du 2 et du dernier de novembre. De la première, j'ai le plaisir de comprendre que le roi correspondra à la confiance que je lui ai eue dans son zèle pour les avantages de notre religion dans ces contrées. Je lui suis tenue de l'application particulière avec laquelle elle lui a présenté mes instances; et elle m'obligera encore plus singulièrement en insistant pour que ces lettres soient expédiées au plus tôt et en bonne et effective forme.
Dans l'autre, Votre Sérénité m'apporte l'expression de ses sentiments pour mes prospérités de ce Saint Noël, dont je la remercie, ainsi que du désir que je porte tout particulier pour les siennes, me réservant de lui donner toute réponse claire dans les œuvres de ma volonté envers vous lorsque l'occasion s'en offrira; et cependant que Notre Seigneur lui concède d'heureux événements.

Jag har mottagit två brev från Ers Durchlauchtighet, daterade den 2 och den sista november. Från det första brevet glädjer det mig att konungen kommer att svara på det förtroende jag har visat honom i hans nit för vår religions fördelar i dessa trakter. Jag förblir tacksam mot Ers Durchlauchtighet för den särskilda tillämpning med vilken Ni har framfört mina önskemål till honom; och Ni vill göra mig ännu mer tacksam genom att insistera på att breven skall skickas påskyndat så snart som möjligt och i effektiv form.
I det andra uttrycker Ers Durchlauchtighet Era känslor för min välgång denna Heliga Jul, för vilken jag tackar Er, såväl som för den längtan jag särskilt hyser för Ers, förbehållande mig att ge Er varje tydligt svar i min viljas verk gentemot Er när tillfälle ges mig; och må Vår Herre emellertid ge Er lyckliga händelser.

To the Nuncio of Spain, on the said day.
Monsignor,
I have received two letters from Your Serenity, dated the 2nd and the last day of November. From the first, I am pleased to understand that the King will correspond to the confidence I have had in him in his zeal for the advantages of our religion in these parts, I remaining obliged to Your Serenity for the particular application with which you have brought my requests to him; and you will oblige me even more singularly by insisting that the letters be expedited as soon as possible and in effective form.
In the other, Your Serenity brings me the expression of your feelings for my prosperities this Holy Christmas, for which I thank you, as well as for the desire that I hold very particular for yours, reserving myself to give you every clear response in the works of my will towards you when the occasion offers itself to me; and in the meantime may Our Lord grant you happy events.
