Wår ÿnnest etc. J warde eder påminnandes, Her Erchiebiskop, huruledes borgmästare och Rådh j Rijga haffve j förledne åhr genom theras deputerade vnderdånigst sig beswärat, om then relation, som skeer vthj eder historia arctoa öffver ett förräderij, dhett Anno 1626. vthj Rijga skulle förelupet wara. Nu hade wij förmodatt, at dhett ena Arckedt som bem:te relation innehåller, allaredo för detta opå wår nådige befallning skulle wara corrigerat och omtrÿckt. J warder Eder påminnandes Herr Ärkebiskop huruledes Borgmästare och Råd i Riga hafwa i förledit åhr igenom deras Deputerade underdånigst sig beswärat om then relation, som sker uti Eder Historia Arctoa öfwer ett förräderie det åhr 1626. uti Riga skulle förelupit wara. Nu hade wi förmodat, at det ena arket, som bemelte relation innehåller, allaredan för detta på wår nådiga befalning skulle wara corrigerat och omtrykt. Men som bem: Borgmästare och Råd i Riga hafwa än ytterligare hos oss therom underdånigst påminna låtit, och wi ingen annan orsak hafwa än the Rigiskes tro och upriktighet ifrån första theras subjection til at berömma; Ty är wår nådiga wilia och befalning, at hwar j samma relation til dato icke hafwa förändrat och omtrycka låtit, j tå låter wara Eder angelägit thet samma ännu med forderligaste at ställa i wärket, på thet the Rigiske således skäligt contentement må wederfaras, och icke hafwa orsak sig ytterligare in för oss theröfwer at beswära. Vous vous souviendrez encore de quelle manière les Bourguemaitres & le Magistrat de Riga nous firent porter des plaintes par leurs Députés, l'année passée, de la relation, qui se trouve dans votre Historia Arctoa sur quelque trahison, qui se seroit passée en 1626. à Riga. Nous nous sommes attendus, que la feuille, où est contenuë la dite relation, seroit déja corrigée & réimprimée, en conséquence de notre ordre gracieux. Mais comme les susdits Bourguemaitres & Magistrats nous en ont fait de très-humbles remontrances ultérieures, & que nous ne pouvons que nous louer de la fidélité & du zéle de ceux de Riga, depuis qu'ils sont sous la domination de Suède: ainsi notre volonté & ordre gracieux est, qu'au cas que vous n'aïez pas encore changé, ni fait réimprimer ladite relation, vous le fassiez sans perte de tems, afin que ceux de Riga soient raisonnablement satisfaits & qu'ils n'aïent pas sujèt de nous en porter de nouvelles plaintes: Et nous vous recommandons à la protection divine. Donné à Stockholm le 8. Août 1637.

English translation (my own):

Kristina, by the grace of God, etc. Our special grace and favour, etc. Lord Doctor and Archbishop, you will remember how the mayors and the magistrate of Riga brought to Us complaints by their deputies last year about the relation, which is in your Historia Arctoa about some treason, which would have happened in 1626 in Riga. We expected that the sheet, where the said relation is contained, would already be corrected and reprinted, as a result of Our gracious command. But as the aforesaid mayors and magistrates have later made Us very humble remonstrances of it, and that We can only praise the loyalty and zeal of the Rigans, since they were under the domination of Sweden, thus Our gracious will and command is that in the event that you have not yet changed, or caused to be reprinted, said relation, you do so without loss of time, so that the Rigans are reasonably satisfied and that they do not subject to Us bringing new complaints. And We commend you to God's protection. Given at Stockholm on August 8, 1637.
