Christina med Guds nåde &c. Wår ynnest, nådiga willia och benägenhet &c. Emedan Wi förnimme Herr Pro-Cancellarie, Rector och samtelige Professores uti Wår Academie i Upsala, som skal det gifwa confusion wid Ungdomens informerande hos Eder, at Prästmän äro wordne härtils brukade wid Professionerne i Facultate philosophica: hwarföre Wi ock hafwa funnit godt och resolverat, at härefter låte desse ämbeten betienas af Politicis, så enkannerligen, at efter thenna tid ingen Theologus eller Prästman (dem undantagandes, som nu sittia i nogon af Professionibus philosophicis) til den måga tillåtas. Wi notificere fördenskuld Eder härmed sådan wår nådige förordning och godtfinnande; och wele, at J det hafwe Eder til efterrättelse, och efter detta icke tilåten någon Theologum til en eller annan profession in facultate philosophica, eller ock låten ordinera nogon Politicum, medan han studia philosophica tracterar, til Präst, dermed thenna Wår förordning måtte kunna violeras. CHRISTINE par la Grace de Dieu &c. Notre faveur, bonne volonté & bienveillance &c. Aïant appris, Mr. le Pro-Chancelier, Recteur & Professeurs de Notre Academie d'Upsal, qu'il y a quelque confusion dans l'instruction de la Jeunesse chez vous, en ce qu'il y a eu parmi les Professeurs de la Faculté de la Philosophie, des personnes qui ont pris l'Ordre de la Prêtrise. C'est pourquoi nous avons trouvé bon & résolu, qui ci-après, ces charges seront éxercées par des Laïques ou personnes revêtuës d'emplois civiles; desorte qu'à l'avenir nul Théologien ou Prêtre (à l'exception de ceux qui occupent actuellement quelqu'une des chaires de Professeur en Philosophie) n'y sera plus admis. Nous vous notifions par cette notre Ordonnance gracieuse, que c'est notre bon plaisir, lequel nous voulons qu'il vous serve de règle, que vous n'admétiez plus dorénavant aucun Théologien à l'une ou à l'autre chaire de la Faculté de Philosophie, ni que vous laissiez prendre l'Ordre de Prêtrise à aucun Laïque pendant qu'il traite les études de Philosophie, afin que cette notre Ordonnance ne soit violée en maniére quelconque. En vous ordonnant de vous régler là-dessus, nous vous recommandons à la protection divine. Donné à Stockholm ce 5. Novembre l'an 1651.

Kristina, by the grace of God, etc. Our favour, good will and benevolence, etc. Having learned, Sir Pro-Chancellor, Rector and Professors of Our Uppsala University, that there is some confusion in the education of the youth at your place, in what there was among the professors of the Faculty of Philosophy, of people who took the order of the priesthood. This is why We have found good and resolved that hereafter these charges will be exercised by laymen or persons in civilian employment; as a result, in the future theologians or priests (with the exception of those who currently occupy any of the professorships in philosophy) will no longer be admitted. We notify you with this Our gracious order that it is Our good pleasure, which We want you to use as a rule, that you will no longer admit any theologian to one or the other chair of the Faculty of Philosophy, or that you allow any layman to take the order of priesthood while he studies philosophy, so that Our ordinance will not be violated in any way. By ordering you to settle on it, We commend you to God's protection. Given at Stockholm on November 5 in the year 1651.
