"Thanks to the document, the Queen of Sweden elects the gentleman Giulio Cesare Votalarca as her domestic, and with the aforementioned document he acquires all the titles with the annexed privileges.
Document drawn up in Rome on January 18, 1676, during her [permanent] stay in the Italian capital.
The sealing wax and paper seal are still preserved, and countersigned by the Abbot Santini."

En foi de quoi, Nous lui avons remis le présent brevet signé de Notre Main Royale et muni de Notre Sceau Royal. Donné à Rome, le 18 janvier 1676.

By virtue of this patent, We declare and constitute Giulio Cesare Votalarca Our gentleman domestic, wanting him to enjoy all the honors, prerogatives, privileges and exemptions which therefore belong to him. We therefore command and wish that the aforesaid Giulio Cesare Votalarca be recognised, respected and held for this. In faith whereof, We have given him the present patent signed by Our Royal Hand and munited with Our Royal Seal. Given in Rome, January 18, 1676.
