In Pamphiliâ situs editissimus mons, Corsycus dictus, ad quem quia noves sæpè appellunt, piratis admodùm commodus est, qui etiam ab eo monte Coricæi dicti sunt. Illi novum dolum excogitaverunt ad insidiandum hominum bonis & vitæ, nam miscebant se mercatoribus advenientibus, & expiscati sunt quas merces adferrent, & quò tenderent, & ubi exponerent. En Pamphylie, il y a une montagne très célèbre, appelée Corycos, vers laquelle, parce qu'ils vont souvent à la mer, il est très pratique pour les pirates, qui sont aussi appelés les Coryciens, après cette montagne.
