29. Gen[aro]. — Qui Si parla molto della Pace Staremo à vedere, certo è che non potrà Succedere Se non vergognosa alla parte della Suezia, e della francia, patienza Dio vuol così –

With modernised spelling:

29 gennaro. —

Qui si parla molto della pace; staremo a vedere. Certo è che non potrà succedere se non vergognosa della Svezia e della Francia. Patienza — Dio vuol così.

French translation (my own):

Le 29 janvier. —

On parle beaucoup ici de paix; on verra. Il est certain qu'elle ne peut se faire sans honte pour la Suède et la France. Patience — Dieu le veut ainsi.

Swedish translation (my own):

Den 29 januari. —

Man talar här mycket om fred; vi får se. Det är säkert att det inte kan ske utan skam för Sverige och Frankrike. Tålamod — Gud vill det så.

English translation (my own):

January 29. —

One talks much here of peace; we'll see. It is certain that it cannot happen without shame for Sweden and France. Patience — God wills it thus.
