M. mi hà resa la Sua Lett[er]a et espressi in uoce i Suoi affettuosi Sentimenti. Jo l'hò Sentito con Sommo piacere particolarmente per le buone nuoue ch'egli mi hà date della salute di V. M. e del Rè Catt[oli]co non essendoui cosa al Mondo, che più mi Sia à cuore di quésta conoscendo quanto importi alla Christianità la loro conseruazione. Ringrazio la M. Io l'ho sentito con sommo piacere, particolarmente per le buone nuove ch'egli mi ha date della salute di Vostra Maestà e del re cattolico, non essendovi cosa al mondo che più mi sia a cuore di questa, conoscendo quanto importi alla cristianità la loro conservazione.
Ringrazio la Maestà Vostra con tutto l'animo di sì cortese dimostrazione, e l'assicuro ch'io non cederò mai ad alcun'altro nell'affetto più cordiale che possa darsi verso le Loro Maestà e che in ogni tempi ed occasione avrò attenzione e cura particolare di farne sperimentar alla Maestà Vostra gl'effetti; e Dio guardi e prosperi la persona di Vostra Maestà com'io desidero. Le vice-roi de Naples, don Pierre de Aragón, qui a si dignement satisfait son rôle ici et fait resplendir le nom de Votre Majesté comme il le méritait, m'a renvoyé sa lettre et m'a exprimé de vive voix ses sentiments affectueux. Je l'ai entendue avec grand plaisir, particulièrement pour les bonnes nouvelles qu'il m'a données de la santé de Votre Majesté et de celle du Roi Catholique, car il n'y a rien au monde qui me soit plus cher que cela, sachant combien leur conservation est importante pour la chrétienté.
Je remercie Votre Majesté de tout mon cœur pour une si courtoise démonstration, et je l'assure que je ne céderai jamais à personne d'autre dans la plus cordiale affection qu'on puisse donner à Vos Majestés et que dans tous les temps et occasions je prendrai un soin et une attention particuliers pour en faire ressentir les effets à Votre Majesté; et que Dieu protège et prospère la personne de Votre Majesté comme je le désire. El Virrey de Nápoles, don Pedro de Aragón, que tan dignamente ha satisfecho aquí su parte y ha hecho resplandecer el nombre de Vuestra Majestad como ha merecido, me ha devuelto su carta y expresado de viva voz vuestros afectos sentimientos. La he oído con mucho gusto, particularmente por las buenas nuevas que me ha dado de la salud de Vuestra Majestad y del Rey Católico, no habiendo cosa en el mundo más próxima a mi corazón que ésta, sabiendo cuán importante es para la cristiandad su conservación.
Agradezco a Vuestra Majestad de todo corazón tan cortés demostración, y la aseguro que nunca cederé a otro en el más cordial afecto que se puede tener a Vuestras Majestades y que en todos los tiempos y ocasiones tendré particular cuidado y atención para que Vuestra Majestad experimente sus efectos; y Dios guarde y prospere la persona de Vuestra Majestad como deseo. The Viceroy of Naples, Don Pedro de Aragón, who has so worthily satisfied his part here and made Your Majesty's name shine as it has deserved, has returned your letter to me and expressed your affectionate sentiments verbally. I have heard it with great pleasure, particularly for the good news he has given me of Your Majesty's health and that of the Catholic King, there being nothing in the world that is closer to my heart than this, knowing how important your preservation is to Christendom.
I thank Your Majesty with all my heart for such a courteous demonstration, and I assure you that I will never yield to anyone else in the most cordial affection that can be given towards Your Majesties and that at all times and occasions I will take particular care and attention to make Your Majesty experience its effects; and may God protect and prosper Your Majesty's person as I desire.
