HOchgebohrner Furst, freundlicher Hertzlieber Vetter. Wie wohl dass noch keiner bey mir mit den avisen gewesen ist; so habe ich doch nicht unterlassen wollen E. L. durch mein schreiben zu avisiren was man mit der voriger Post vernommen hat, nemlich, dass die frau mutter soll ein schiff vom Könige in Dennemarck bekommen haben, damit in Preussen zu ziehen. Für gewiss weis man es nicht. Die officiers sämtlich, so wohl die Obristen und Capiteinen, als die drey Generals, Pfuhl, Wrangel und Wittenberg: (welche drey hoc rerum statu summæ rei præsunt:) haben her geschrieben, bittend, man wolte ihnen eine summa geldt geben. Wo dass geschehe, wolten sie treulich beystehen: so ferne aber dass nicht geschehe, wolten sie für der welt excusirt seyn, wenn sie abgingen. Bitten auch daneben, dass der so in Baner seine stelle verordnet würde, mögte nit wie Er nach seinen eigenen rath commendiren, sondern communi illorum consilio. Mit der Fransösischen alliance ist es noch in vorigem stand. Ich höre der Fransos will uns die armée debauchiren. Es wäre leichtlich zu thun. E. L. hier mit Gott befohlen verbleibe.

Cependant, on n'en est pas encore bien assuré. On n'en est pas certain.
Tous les officiers, y compris les colonels et les capitaines, ainsi que les trois généraux Pfuel, Wrangel et Wittenberg (lesquels, dans ces circonstances, sont les plus hautes autorités), ont écrit ici pour demander qu'on leur verse une somme d'argent. Si cela devait se produire, ils offriraient leur fidèle soutien; mais si cela ne se produisait pas, ils seraient excusés devant le monde à leur décès.
