Illustrissime Princeps, Affinis charissime. Jam tandem ex voto nostro impetravimus ab illustrissima Amita, ut Filiam vestram juniorem Eleonoram apud nos retineremus, studiorumque Condiscipulam et vitæ sociam haberemus. Non dubitamus quin Celsitudo Vestra nostro quoque desiderio paterna sua approbatione locum sit datura. Dabimus certe operam, ne nec Parentes, nec Filiam pæniteat unquam hujus & aliorum erga nos meritorum. Valete & nos amate, ne que dubitate quin nos vobis in amore respondeamus. Nous ne doutons pas que Votre Altesse ne nous accorde, par son approbation paternelle, ce que nous desirons. Nous tâcherons certainement de faire en sorte que les Parents ni la fille ne se repentent jamais de nous avoir fait ce plaisir, aussi bien que d'autres. Portez-vous bien, & nous aimez, & ne doutez pas que de notre côté nous ne vous aimions aussi.
