Clarissima. Nel ricevere dalla divina bontà il peso grande del Pontificato, è sollievo della mia gravezza il riguardare, come facciamo con particolare affetto la M. V. eletta dal Sig. Dio a si grande e straord:ria maniera di suo servitio, e che con tanta virtù, e costanza dopo haver sacrificati i suoi Regni alla vera fede di Christo, mostra anche con tante fatiche e disagi la sua prontezza di sacrificargli la vita, e fa risplendere la gloriosa, e degna perseveranza nella sua somma pietà. È a noi ben noto quanto habbia la M. V. cooperato alla nostra esaltatione, e ne rendiamo a lei vivissime gratie, assicurandola che in ogni tempo incontreremo si volentieri l'occasioni di contribuire alla sua prosperità, e sodisfatione, come il singolare esempio del suo gran merito ci obliga a desiderare e pregando il Sig. Dio, che misuri le gratie a V. M. dalla gran virtù e pietà sua, le diamo con paterno affetto la nostra Ap:lica beneditione. Nel ricevere dalla divina bontà il peso grande del pontificato, è sollievo della mia gravezza il riguardare, come facciamo, con particolare affetto la Maestà Vostra eletta dal Signor Dio a si grande e straordinaria maniera di suo servigio, e che con tanta virtù, e costanza dopo aver sacrificati i suoi regni alla vera fede di Cristo, mostra anche con tante fatiche e disagi la sua prontezza di sacrificargli la vita, e fa risplendere la gloriosa, e degna perseveranza nella sua somma pietà. È a Noi ben noto quanto abbia la Maestà Vostra cooperato alla Nostra esaltazione, e ne rendiamo a lei vivissime grazie, assicurandola che in ogni tempo incontreremo si volentieri l'occasioni di contribuire alla sua prosperità e soddisfazione, come il singolare esempio del suo gran merito Ci obbliga a desiderare; e pregando il Signor Dio che misuri le grazie a Vostra Maestà dalla gran virtù e pietà sua, le diamo con paterno affetto la Nostra apostolica benedizione. En recevant de la bonté divine le grand poids du pontificat, c'est un soulagement de ma gravité de regarder, comme Nous faisons, avec une affection particulière à Votre Majesté, élue par le Seigneur Dieu d'une manière si grande et extraordinaire de son service, et qui, avec tant de vertu et de constance après avoir sacrifié ses royaumes à la véritable foi du Christ, montre même avec tant de fatigues et des desaises sa disponibilité à lui sacrifier sa vie, et elle fait resplendir en elle sa glorieuse et digne persévérance piété exceptionnelle. Nous savons bien combien Votre Majesté a coopéré à Notre exaltation, et Nous l'en rendons un très vif remerciement, l'assurant qu'en tout temps Nous trouverons avec plaisir l'occasion de contribuer à sa prospérité et à sa satisfaction, comme le singulier exemple de son grand mérite Nous oblige à désirer; et, priant le Seigneur Dieu de mesurer les grâces de Votre Majesté par sa grande vertu et sa piété, Nous lui donnons Notre bénédiction apostolique avec une paternelle affection. När jag från den gudomliga godheten tar emot pontifikatets stora tyngd, är det en lättnad från min allvar att se, som Vi gör, med särskild tillgivenhet på Ers Majestät, utvald av Herren Gud på ett så stort och utomordentligt sätt i hans tjänst, och som med så mycket dygd och ståndaktighet efter att ha offrat Era riken för Kristi sanna tro, visar även med så många tröttheter och svårigheter Er beredvillighet att offra Ert liv åt honom, och Ni får Er härliga och värdiga uthållighet att lysa upp i Er  enastående fromhet. Det är välbekant för Oss hur mycket Ers Majestät har samarbetat i Vår upphöjelse, och Vi gör Er en högst livlig tacksägelse och försäkrar Er att Vi alltid skall gärna finna tillfälle att bidra till Ert välstånd och tillfredsställelse, som det enastående exemplet på Era stora förtjänster förpliktar Oss att begära; och bedjande till Herren Gud att mäta Ers Majestäts nåder med Hans stora dygd och fromhet, ger Vi Er Vår apostoliska välsignelse med faderlig tillgivenhet. In receiving from the divine goodness the great weight of the pontificate, it is a relief from my graveness to look, as We do, with particular affection at Your Majesty, elected by the Lord God in such a great and extraordinary manner of His service, and who, with so much virtue and constancy after having sacrificed your kingdoms to the true faith of Christ, shows even with so many fatigues and hardships your readiness to sacrifice your life to Him, and you make your glorious and worthy perseverance shine out in your outstanding piety. It is well known to Us how much Your Majesty has cooperated in Our exaltation, and We give you most vivid thanks, assuring you that at all times We shall gladly find the opportunity to contribute to your prosperity and satisfaction, as the singular example of your great merit obliges Us to desire; and, praying to the Lord God to measure Your Majesty's graces by His great virtue and piety, We give you Our apostolic blessing with paternal affection. Given in Rome at St. Peter's, June 22, 1667, in the first year of Our pontificate.
