Con mio Sommo piacere incontro l'occ[asio]ne che V. A. mi porge di favorire il March[es]e Pietro Maria Pallavicino il quale p[er]ò conoscerà dalla [...] premura con cui m'adopro p[er] il suo intento [...] e con quanto affetto [...] io considero tutto cio [...] che riguarda la sodisfat[io]ne di V. A. [...] la quale può esser certa che non mancherò dal canto mio di far quan[to] potrò p[er]che il pred[ett]o Cav[alie]re resti consolato [...]

Med mitt stora nöje möter jag det tillfälle som Ers Höghet erbjuder mig att gynna markisen Pietro Maria Pallavicino, som dock kommer att veta av den omsorg, med vilken jag adopterar mig för hans ändamål, och med vilken tillgivenhet jag anser allt som rör tillfredsställelsen av Ers Höghet, som kan vara säker på att jag från min sida kommer ej att misslyckas med att göra vad jag kan för att hålla den förutnämnde kavaljeren tröstad.

With my great pleasure I meet the opportunity that Your Highness offers me to favour the Marquis Pietro Maria Pallavicino, who, however, will know from the care with which I adopt myself for his purpose, and with what affection I consider everything that concerns the satisfaction of Your Highness, who can be sure that on my part I will not fail to do what I can to keep the aforementioned cavaliere remain consoled.
