Alla repugnanza ch'io hò di rendermi importuna alla cortesia di lei co' miei frequenti ufficj di raccomandazione, prevale tanto la volontà che tengo di compiacere a chi mi richiede la presente, che non solo non possò dispensarmene, mà anche son portata a farlo con premura straordinaria; Ond'ella scuserà la mia troppo confidenza, le raccomando però efficacamente il Commendator Frà Antonio Ildaris nativo di Bitanto, il quale per i proprj requisiti, e per i servitj prestati al Rè Cat:co. da' suoi Antenati, tanto in Guerra, quanto in Governi e Giudicature, desidera d'esser provisto da lei, alla prima vacanza, del Governo di Salerno, o d'altro simile; Ed io la prego a fargliene la grazia con assicurarla dell'obligo particolare che ne le professerò, augurandole. &c.

Elle excusera donc ma trop grande confiance, mais je recommande effectivement le commendateur Frère Antoine Ildaris, natif de Bitanto, qui pour ses propres besoins, et pour les services rendus au Roi Catholique par ses ancêtres, tant dans la guerre que dans les gouvernements et judicatures, souhaite être pourvu par elle, à la première vacance, par le gouvernement de Salerne, ou quelque chose de semblable. You will therefore excuse my too much confidence, but I recommend effectively the commendator Brother Antonio Ildaris, a native of Bitanto, who for his own requirements, and for the services rendered to the Catholic King by his ancestors, both in war and in governments and judicature, wishes to be provided by you, on the first vacancy, by the Government of Salerno, or something similar.
