Don Manoel Texera. In risposta della vostra lettera dei 8. del passato, vi dico, ch'io son molto sodisfatta sin qui del Marchese del Monte, il quale sò da più bande, che nella prima udienza hà adempito degnamente, e con applauso le sue parti, e Silvercron me n'hà fatto una testimonianza da me molto particolarmente stimata, onde spero, che doppo haver preso pratica della cose, mi risarcirà in gran parte della perdita del padre; mà s'io sono sodisfatta di lui, non lo sono del modo di trattar di quella corte. Intanto vi ordino di mandarmi un conto, ed a parte di tutto ciò che spetta agl'interessi del fù Marchese del Monte, e di continuare a pagare per un anno intiero alla Casa sua, la provisione, che havete pagato sin qui a lui, ed al Pupo del Monte continuerete la sua pensione assegnatagli sino a venti anni, perche verisimilmente, io non potrò viver tanto, gliela pagherete anticipatamente tutta, mà a poco per volta, non dubitate che da me vi sarà bonificato tutto puntualmente. Del resto hò ricevuto le risposte di Mr. Carton, con mia sodisfazione. Ringraziate da parte mia il Sr. Duca di Volfenbitel delle affettuose espressioni che vi hà fatto verso di me, assicurandolo della propensione, e della stima particolare che gli porto, e Dio vi prosperi.
Mi dimenticao di dirvi, che la rimessa dei sei cento tallari al Nunges mene son valuta per me in una certa occorenza, tutti quei concerti fatti, o da farsi trà noi ed il fù Marchese, overo co' figlj, attendeteli pure che farete con ordine, e consenso di me &c.

En réponse à votre lettre du 8 du passé, je vous dis que je suis jusqu'à présent très satisfaite du marquis del Monte, dont je sais par plusieurs sources que lors de la première audience, il a rempli dignement et avec applaudissements ses rôles, et dont Silfvercrona m'a donné un témoignage que j'estime hautement, aussi j'espère qu'après avoir pris l'habitude des choses, il me récompensera en grande partie de la perte de son père; mais si je suis satisfaite de lui, je ne suis pas satisfaite de la manière de traiter avec cette cour. Cependant, je vous ordonne de m'envoyer un compte et une partie de tout ce qui est dû aux intérêts du marquis del Monte, et de continuer à payer pendant une année entière à sa maison la provision que vous avez payée jusqu'ici à lui et au garçon del Monte, vous continuerez sa pension qui lui est assignée jusqu'à vingt ans, car probablement, je ne pourrai pas vivre longtemps, vous lui paierez tout d'avance, mais petit à petit; ne doutez pas que tout sera corrigé par moi à temps. Pour le reste, j'ai reçu les réponses de M. Carton, à ma satisfaction. Remerciez de ma part le duc de Wolfenbuttel des paroles affectueuses qu'il m'a faites, l'assurant du penchant et de l'estime particulière que j'ai pour lui; et Dieu vous fasse prospérer.
J'ai oublié de vous dire que la remise des six cents dalers à Nunges m'est valorisée dans un certain fait, tous ces concerts faits ou à faire entre nous et le marquis, ou avec les fils, attends ceux que vous ferez par mon ordre et mon consentement, etc.

Som svar på Ert brev av den 8 förra månaden säger jag Er att jag hittills är mycket nöjd med markisen del Monte, som jag från flera källor vet att han i den första audiensen fullgjorde sina delar värdigt och med applåder, och om vilka Silfvercrona givit mig ett vittnesbörd som jag högt aktar, så jag hoppas att han, efter att ha tagit övning i saker och ting, skall ersätta mig till stor del för förlusten av sin far; men om jag är nöjd med honom, så är jag inte nöjd med sättet att hantera med det hovet. Emellertid beordrar jag Er att skicka mig en redogörelse och en del av allt som beror på markisen del Montes intressen, och att fortsätta att betala under ett helt år till hans hus den avsättning Ni har betalat hittills till honom och pojken del Monte, Ni skall fortsätta hans pension som tilldelats honom upp till tjugo år, för förmodligen kommer jag inte att kunna leva länge, Ni skall betala honom allt i förskott, men lite i taget; tvivla inte på att allt kommer att åtgärdas av mig i tid. I övrigt har jag fått svaren från monsieur Carton, till min belåtenhet. Tacka hertigen av Wolfenbuttel å mina vägnar för de tillgivna uttryck han har gjort mot mig och försäkrat honom om den benägenhet och speciella aktning jag har för honom; och Gud välsigne Er.
Jag glömde att berätta för Er att överföringen av de sexhundra dalerna till Nunges värderas för mig i en viss händelse, alla de konserter som gjorts eller skall göras mellan oss och markisen, eller med sönerna, vänta på dem som Ni kommer att göra efter min beställning och samtycke, osv.

In response to your letter of the 8th of last month, I tell you that I am very satisfied up to now with the Marquis del Monte, who I know from several sources that in the first audience he fulfilled his parts worthily and with applause, and of which Silfvercrona has given me a testimony which I highly esteem, so I hope that after having taken practice of things, he will compensate me in large part for the loss of his father; but if I am satisfied with him, I am not satisfied with the way of dealing with that court. In the meantime, I order you to send me an account and a part of all that is due to the interests of the Marquis del Monte, and to continue to pay for a whole year to his house the provision you have paid up to now to him and to the boy del Monte, you will continue his pension assigned to him up to twenty years, because probably, I will not be able to live long, you will pay him all in advance, but little by little; do not doubt that everything will be remedied by me on time. For the rest, I have received the responses from Monsieur Carton, to my satisfaction. Thank the Duke of Wolfenbuttel on my behalf for the affectionate expressions he has made towards me, assuring him of the propensity and special esteem I have for him; and God prosper you.
I forgot to tell you that the remittance of the six hundred dalers to Nunges is valued for me in a certain occurrence, all those concerts made or to be done between us and the Marquis, or with the sons, wait for them that you will do by my order and consent, etc.
