Oltre la Quietanza finale che noi habbiamo data al n[ostr]o Re[side]nte D. Manoel Tex[eira] sotto li 19. Ap[ri]le del p[rese]nte Anno 1687 dichiariamo con la presente che per leccessiuo guadagno che gli potesse hau[...] fatte con noi negl'anni compresi nella liqvidatione [...] vogliamo p[er] qviete della n[ost]ra Conscienza fargliene vna donat[io]ne si come con la p[rese]nte gli doniamo nella migliore e più [...] valida forma tutto ciò che portesse haver guadagnato eccessivamente [...] di tempo con Noi [...] Vogliamo però, e comandiamo che il d[et]to D Man[oel] Tex[eir]a è suoi heredi e successori non s[a]rano mai p[er] alc[un]e tempo molestati p[er] q[ues]to conte. Oltre la quittanza finale che Noi abbiamo data al nostro residente don Manuel Texeira sotto li 19 aprile del presente anno 1687, dichiariamo con la presente che per l'eccessivo guadagno che gli potesse av[...] fatte con Noi negl'anni compresi nella liquidazione, vogliamo per quiete della Nostra coscienza fargliene una donazione si come con la presente gli doniamo nella migliore e più valida forma tutto ciò che portesse aver guadagnato eccessivamente di tempo con Noi, vogliamo però e comandiamo che il detto don Manuel Texeira e suoi eredi e successori non saranno mai per alcune tempo molestati per questo conte. In fede, etc.

French translation (by Arckenholtz):

Outre la quittance finale que nous avons donnée à notre Résident D. Manoel Teixera, en date du 19 Avril de cette année 1687, nous déclarons par la présente, que malgré le gain excessif qu'il peut avoir fait avec nous, pendant les années comprises dans la liquidation, & exprimées dans ladite quittance, nous voulons pourtant pour le repos de notre conscience, & en considération de son mérite pour notre service, lui en faire une donation, comme par la présente nous lui donnons, dans la meilleure & la plus valable forme, tout ce qu'il aura pu gagner de trop dans ce tems avec nous. C'est pourquoi nous voulons & ordonnons que ledit D. Manoel Teixera & ses héritiers & successeurs ne soient jamais molestés pour ce compte. En foi de quoi, &c.

Swedish translation (my own):

Förutom den slutliga kvittansen som Vi gav till Vår resident don Manuel Texeira, daterat den 19 april detta år 1687, förklarar Vi härmed att trots den överdrivna vinst som han kan ha gjort med Oss ​​under de år som omfattas av likvidation, och uttryckt i bemälda kvittansen, Vi skall dock för Vårt samvetes frid och med hänsyn till hans förtjänst för Vår tjänst göra en donation till honom därav, då Vi härmed giver honom, i bästa och mest värdiga form, allt vad han kunde ha vunnit för mycket under den här tiden med Oss. English translation (my own):

Besides the final quittance which We gave to Our resident Don Manuel Texeira, dated April 19 of this year 1687, We hereby declare that in spite of the excessive gain which he may have made with Us during the years comprised in liquidation, and expressed in the said receipt, We will, however, for the peace of Our conscience, and in consideration of his merit for Our service, make a donation to him of it, as We hereby give him, in the best and most worthwhile form, all that he could have gained too much in this time with us. Wherefore We wish and order that the said Don Manuel Texeira and his heirs and successors never be bothered for this account. In witness whereof, etc.
