Göre härmed veterligen att emedan Vi icke mera än skäligen pröve det alla varor som utur landthamnarna på Gotland utskeppas, ju såväl port- eller lilltullen prestera och erlägga böra som slikt eljest uti Visby Stads hamn prakticerat varder; varföre have Vi på Vår tro man, skattmästare och generalguvernör, Oss älsklig välborne herr Seved Bååth[s], friherre till Härlunda, herre till Fållnäs, Skärsholm och Myrö, gottfinnande och hos Oss inkomna rekommendation slik disposition och uppbörd nådigst velat kommittera och uppdraga, som Vi ock i kraft av detta Vårt öppna brev uppdrage och kommittere Våra tro tjänare, tullförvaltaren och kontrollören vid Visby sjötullskantor, ärlige och förståndige Gunnar Galberg och Joachim von Glaan.
Och såsom de i denna måtto skola vara Oss med lika trohet och plikt obligerade, som de eljest äro Oss förbundna, så skall dem ock i synnerhet åligga med inrättandet av denna lill- eller porttull uti landthamnarna på Gotland således att procedera och förfara, som det på det allerfogligste och utan Våra trogna undersåtares tryck och besvär därsammastädes kan låta sig göra och deras Oss i denna måtto gjorda förslag det vidare innehåller, havandes de överallt så uti detta ärendet, som eljest att inhämta Vår generalguvernörs order och gottfinnande, eftersåsom de ock densamma verkligen att efterleva och honom, så för denna uppbörd som vad dem eljest anbetrott är, riktig reda och räkning att göra på det kraftigste obligerad vara skola, tvivlandes Vi ingalunda än de ju detta ärende med lill- eller porttullens uppbörd således och på annat sätt inte varda hantera än som däröver författade ordinans sådant medgiver och tillåter; och bestå Vi dem bägge tillsammans för detta deras omak av all slik uppbörd att njuta den åttonde penning, dock detta till Vårt vidare behag och gottfinnande.
Här alla som detta angår have sig vederbörligen att efterrätta, icke tillfogandes bemälda Gunnar Galberg och Joachim von Glaan häremot hinder eller men i någon måtto. Till yttermera visso, etc., etc. Datum Norrköping, den 29 aprilis anno 1661.

Nous faisons savoir par la présente que, parce qu'il Nous semble tout à fait raisonnable que toutes les marchandises expédiées depuis les ports terrestres de Gotlande doivent être soumises aux droits de port et aux droits miniers, conformément aux pratiques en vigueur dans le port de Visby, Nous avons, avec l'approbation de Notre féal homme, trésorier et gouverneur général, Notre très cher et bien né sieur Seved Bååth, baron de Härlunda, seigneur de Fållnäs, Skärsholm et Myrö, voulu donner des instructions quant à la disposition et à la perception de ces droits. Par cette Notre présente lettre ouverte, Nous chargeons et donnons également instructions à Nos féaux serviteurs, les administrateurs et inspecteurs des douanes maritimes de Visby, les honorables et avisés Gunnar Galberg et Joachim von Glaan, d'appliquer ces mesures.
Et comme ils Nous seront obligés, en cette matière, de la même fidélité et du même devoir qu'à toute autre fin, ils seront également tenus, tout particulièrement, de procéder et d'agir, pour l'établissement de ce petit droit ou droit portuaire dans les ports de Gotlande, de la manière la plus commode et sans oppression ni fardeau pour Nos féaux sujets, conformément aux propositions qu'ils Nous ont faites à ce sujet. Ils devront, comme pour toute autre question, obtenir les ordres et l'approbation de Notre gouverneur général, auxquels ils seront également tenus de se conformer et de lui rendre compte fidèlement, tant de cette perception que de tout autre versement qui leur sera confié. Nous ne doutons nullement qu'ils traiteront la question de la perception de ce petit droit ou droit portuaire de la manière prévue par l'ordonnance écrite à cet effet; et Nous leur accordons à tous deux, en compensation de ce désagrément, de jouir d'un huitième des sommes provenant de toutes ces collectes; toutefois, cela dépend de Notre approbation et de notre satisfaction ultérieure.
Que tous ceux que cela concerne s'y conforment dûment, sans causer ni préjudice à Gunnar Galberg et Joachim von Glaan. En foi de quoi, etc., etc. Faite à Norrköping, le 29 avril 1661.

We hereby make known that because We do not more than reasonably understand that all goods that are shipped out of the land harbours on Gotland, both the port duty or the small duty, should be performed and paid as well as that such other things are practiced in the port of Visby City; therefore, at the approval of Our faithful man, treasurer and governor general, Our well-beloved and well-born Mr. Seved Bååth, Baron of Härlunda, Lord of Fållnäs, Skärsholm and Myrö, We have graciously wanted to commission and instruct such disposition and collection, as We also by virtue of this Our open letter do commission and instruct Our faithful servants, the customs administrators and inspectors at the Visby sea customs offices, the honest and sensible Gunnar Galberg and Joachim von Glaan.
And as they shall be obliged to Us with the same fealty and duty in this matter, as they are otherwise bound to Us, so shall they also be particularly bound to proceed and act with the establishment of this small duty or port duty in the country harbours on Gotland, as it can be done in the most convenient way and without oppression and burden on Our faithful subjects there and as their proposals made to Us in this matter further contain, they having everywhere in this matter, as otherwise, to obtain the orders and approval of Our governor general, as they shall also be most strongly obliged to comply with the same and to make a proper account and account for him, both of this collection as well as of what is otherwise entrusted to them, We do not in any way doubt that they shall handle this matter with the collection of the small duty or port duty in this way and in any other way than the ordinance written thereon permits and permits; and We grant them both together, for this their inconvenience, to enjoy an eighth of the money from all such collection; however, this depends on Our further pleasure and approval.
