Our favour, etc. Whereas, Lord Governor Olof Stake, the peace treaty between Our and the Danes' commissioners has now come so far, by the grace of God, that they have now finally come to complete agreement on all disputed points, as well as that the decrees and conclusion of the treaty are signed; so since the war between these Nordic realms has now hereby gained a desirable end and outcome, so that all hostility should now cease on both Our and the Danes' side; it is therefore and hereby Our gracious will and command that you, as soon as this Our letter reaches you, give the order that all officers as well as common soldiers in your entire governorate of Värmland and Dal keep completely still with their weapons and all actuality of hostility, as We also do not doubt that the Danes and Norwegians on their side will do so in equal measure; you shall in all other respects comply with the order you will receive from the Lord Field Marshal Gustaf Horn and the Lord Major General Lars Kagg. You would thereby comply with Our gracious will and final opinion; and We commend you, etc. ...
