Il rispetto di persona molto qualificata, e che hà meco gran merito, m'obliga a raccomandar a V. A. il Cavalier Antonio Vincenzo Adami, nell'annunzio medemo del quale, troverà ella giusti titoli di compiacere alla sua instanza, mentre, oltre i proprj requisiti, hà meriti hereditarj con la casa di V. A. per servizj prestati dal Cavalier Ludovico suo Padre, e dal Sig:r. Ottavio Adami suo Zio, come ne farà costare: prego per tanto V. A. con ogni più viva premura, a provederlo di qualche impiego militare decente alla sua qualità, onde habbia campo d'augmentare i meriti della sua casa nel servizio dell'A. V. del quale si professa singolarmente divoto, mentre io l'assicuro che le ne resterò con obligo particolare, e mi confermo D. V. A.

I therefore beg Your Highness with all the keenest concern to provide him with some military employment decent to his quality, so that he will have field of augmenting the merits of his house in the service of Your Highness, to which he professes singularly devoted, while I assure you that I will remain with particular obligation to you; and I confirm myself
