SIR,

... You have heard of the queen of Swedeland's royal entertainment at Brussels, which was indeed kingly. They are building a stage in the great hall there for a royal play, which is expressly made for her, and to be represented at shrovetide. She hath altered for the present her resolution of returning to Antwerp, and hath taken Egmond's house for her seat and quarters. The prince of Condé hath not visited her yet, because she will not receive him at the stair foot, as she did the archduke; yet they have spoke occasionally to each other at the comedy. ...

On construit une scène dans la grande salle pour une pièce royale, créée spécialement pour elle et destinée à être représentée le jour de Carnaval. Elle a renoncé pour le moment à retourner à Anvers et a choisi la maison d'Egmont comme résidence.

Le prince de Condé ne lui a pas encore rendu visite, car elle ne veut pas le recevoir au pied de l'escalier, comme elle l'a fait avec l'archiduc. Pourtant, ils se sont parlé de temps en temps à la comédie. ...

... Ni har ju hört talas om drottningen av Sveriges kungliga underhållning i Bryssel, som sannerligen var kunglig. De bygger en scen i den stora salen där för ett kungligt skådespel, som är uttryckligen gjort för henne och för att representeras vid fastlagen. Hon har för tillfället ändrat sitt beslut att återvända till Antwerpen och har tagit Egmonts hus som sitt säte och kvarter.

Prinsen de Condé har ännu inte besökt henne eftersom hon inte vill ta emot honom vid trappan, som hon gjorde med ärkehertigen, men de har ändå talat med varandra då och då vid komedien. ...
