Les civilités du duc de Holstein m'ont arrêtée pour deux jours chez lui, et je n'en suis partie qu'aujourd'hui, et tout ce que j'ai pu faire a été de me rendre ici ce soir, dont je partirai demain au matin pour continuer mon voyage avec toute la diligence qui me sera possible. Adieu.

Hertigen av Holsteins artighetsbetygelser stoppade mig i två dagar hos honom, och jag gick inte förrän idag, och allt jag kunde göra var att komma hit ikväll, varifrån jag skall åka imorgon om morgonen för att fortsätta min resa med allt möjligt flit. Farväl.
English translation (my own):
Second letter from Flensborg, May 3, 1667.
The civilities of the Duke of Holstein stopped me for two days at his place, and I did not leave until today, and all I could do was come here tonight, from whence I will be leaving tomorrow morning to continue my journey with all possible diligence. Farewell.
