... You haue done verie well to condole and congratulat uith the Emperour and king of Sueden, whose predecessour went from Sueden in mans aparell till she came to Hambourg then she putt it off and was visited and treated by the toune, and the Dukes of Lunebourg and Holstein visited her, she was vanished away on a sudaine againe in mans clothes this way, it is thought she is at Amsterdam because the French Ambassadour Chanut is gone priuatelie thither, he is her confident but whither she will be knowen heer or not, is not certaine. The Queene of Dennemarc disguised herself in burgers clothes and so saw her in mans clothes, my next uill tell you more of this Romance. ...
