M. efter sin conscientie och emedan hon andra daghen til gudhs bohl wille gå, protesterade och sade migh sina tanckar och then irresolutionen hon ennu vti giftermåhlet hade, och at hon gerna först skole see migh considerable vti werden, om hon endtlig therhän skole treda och resolvera, män försäkra migh thette altijdh thet jagh migh aldrigh för någen annen skole befahra: och til at senda vth migh, bruckade H. Den 31 decembris kom greve Magnus upp och upprepade det före, däruppå Hennes Kungliga Majestät, efter sin konscientie och emedan hon andra dagen till Guds bol ville gå, protesterade och sade mig sina tankar och den irresolutionen hon ännu uti giftermålet hade och att hon gärna först skulle se mig konsiderabel uti världen om hon äntlig[en] därhän skulle träda och resolvera, men försäkra[de] mig detta alltid det jag mig aldrig för någon annan skole befara. Och till att sända ut mig, brukade Hennes Kungliga Majestät den invention att persvadera Rikskanslern och fältherren därtill att samtycka det Hennes Kungliga Majestät sig alldeles till consumationem matrimonii med mig resolverat hade; allenast jag denna expeditionen först gjorde, vilket jag ock skulle kontestera och ställa mig vara kontent.
French translation (my own):
Le 31 décembre, le comte Magnus est venu et a répété ce qui avait été dit auparavant, ce à quoi Sa Majesté Royale, selon sa conscience et parce qu'elle voulait aller au jardin de Dieu le deuxième jour, a protesté et m'a fait part de ses pensées et de l'indécision qu'elle avait encore à ce sujet du mariage et qu'elle me verrait d'abord volontiers dans le monde si elle devait enfin entrer et se résoudre, mais elle m'a toujours assuré de ceci: que je ne devrais jamais craindre personne d'autre. Et, pour m'envoyer dehors, Sa Majesté Royale utilisa l'invention de persuader le grand chancelier et le feltmaréchal de consentir à ce que Sa Majesté Royale avait résolu de consommer le mariage avec moi; seulement que je fisse d'abord cette expédition, que je contesterais aussi et dont je me contenterais.
English translation (my own):
On December 31st Count Magnus came up and repeated what was said before, to which Her Royal Majesty, according to her conscience and because she wanted to go to God's garden the second day, protested and told me her thoughts and the irresolution she still had about the marriage and that she first gladly see me considerable in the world if she were to finally enter and resolve, but she always assured me of this: that I should never fear anyone else. And, to send me out, Her Royal Majesty used the invention of persuading the Grand Chancellor and the Field Marshal to consent to what Her Royal Majesty had resolved to the consummation of matrimony with me; only that I do this expedition first, which I would also contest and be content with.
