... giver jag ... härmed att veta, att drottningen reste ut idag bittida till att möta änkedrottningen, vilken i förlidna natt i Tälje logerat haver, och hava vi nu på stunden förstått, att Hennes Majestät änkedrottningen sig skulle hava opasslig befunnit i Tälje. Varför menar man att drottningen skall där förbliva i natt. Till i morgon äro de bägge hit förväntandes till att bese baletten, som den nästkommande måndag dansas skall. Hennes Majestät haver inte varit på begravningen (kanslerns frus), både för det att hon något opasslig varit haver såsom ock till att hasta på baletten för denna fransyska ambassadörens skull, vilken sig hastar till att resa hädan förrän vattnet tillfryser men vill gärna se baletten först.
Ingenting annat vet jag att skriva denna gången utan i morgon bittida skola vi rida ut emot drottningen om Gud vill. ...

English translation (my own):
My dear brother,
... I hereby inform you that the Queen went out early today to meet the Dowager Queen, who had lodged in Tälje last night, and we have now at the moment understood that Her Majesty the Dowager Queen is supposed to have been indisposed in Tälje. Why do you think the Queen should stay there tonight? Until tomorrow, they are both expecting to see the ballet here, which will be danced next Monday. Her Majesty has not been to the funeral (of the Chancellor's wife), both because she has been somewhat indisposed, as well as because she is rushing to the ballet for the sake of this French ambassador, who hurries to travel from here until the water freezes, but would like to see the ballet first.
I know nothing else to write this time, but tomorrow morning we will ride out to the Queen if God wills. ...
