Les porteurs de la présente sont les deux religieux que Votre Majesté a demandés dernièrement. Leur science, leur probité, leur dévouement et d'autres qualités qui les rendent propres au service de Votre Majesté, me font espérer qu'ils lui donneront pleine satisfaction. D'ailleurs, nous sommes tous de cœur aux ordres de Votre Majesté, et moi en particulier je lui offre mes faibles services pour tout ce qui pourra lui être agréable. Enfin je prie le Seigneur par les mérites de Jésus-Christ de combler par ses bienfaits les désirs de Votre Majesté.

Bärarna av detta nuvarande brev är de två munkar som Ers Majestät nyligen har begärt. Deras kunskap, deras hederlighet, deras hängivenhet och andra egenskaper som gör dem lämpliga för Ers Majestäts tjänst får mig att hoppas att de kommer att ge Er full tillfredsställelse. För övrigt är vi alla i hjärtat på order av Ers Majestät, och jag erbjuder i synnerhet mina svaga tjänster till Er för allt som kan vara behagligt för Er. English translation (my own):

The bearers of this present letter are the two monks that Your Majesty has recently requested. Their knowledge, their probity, their devotion and other qualities which make them suitable for the service of Your Majesty make me hope that they will give you full satisfaction. For the rest, we are all at heart at the orders of Your Majesty, and I in particular offer my feeble services to you for everything that may be agreeable to you. Finally, I pray the Lord, through the merits of Jesus Christ, to fulfill Your Majesty's desires with His good deeds.
