Our favour, etc. Whereas, Major and Commandant Gerhard Schaar, We perceive that peace between Us and the King of Denmark will be concluded, wherefore We expect all complete information from Our commissioners on the border at Brömsebro tomorrow, We therefore consider it necessary and good that you must take good care of the post and fortress Helsingborg entrusted to you until you receive all further information and notification from Field Marshal Lord Gustaf Horn and until he gives you orders as to how you should further proceed.
Now, as We perceive that Our fleet lies in the Sound, We have also written to Admiral Lord Erik Ryning on what he also has to do in this case, and We have enclosed the letters in this accompanying packet. It is therefore Our gracious will and command that you send an express with the same packet of letters to the said Lord Erik Ryning at the fleet, that he may receive it without delay; do comply herewith.
