Kristina's letter of the same day to Carlo Carafa della Spina, the Apostolic Nuncio to Vienna, is here:
"Quoique Christine n'ignorât pas que la Cour de Vienne ne le céde guére à aucune Cour en zéle pour la Catholicité, il semble pourtant qu'elle ait assez connu que la Cour d'Espagne renchérissoit encore sur le Bigotisme...
Le Contenu de la Lettre au Nonce d'Espagne revient à celle qu'elle avoit écrite à celui de Vienne. ..."
"Although Kristina was not ignorant of the fact that the court of Vienna was second to none in its zeal for Catholicity, it seems, however, that she was well aware that the court of Spain was even more ambitious in its bigotry...
The content of the letter to the nuncio of Spain is similar to the one she had written to the nuncio of Vienna. ..."

Desiderando io nel tempo che li miei negotij m'obligano à fermarmi in q[ues]ti Paesi d'applicarmi anche à prò de i Catt[oli]ci che vì Sono con procurar loro p[er] q[uan]to posso la commodità del libero essercitio della n[ost]ra Relig[ion]e Si in q[ues]ta Città, come in Danemarca, Stimerei di poter facìlitar assai l'adempim[en]to del mio intento, Se alli miei ufficij Si aggiungessero quelli dì S. M[aes]tá Catt[oli]ca prego per tanto uiuam[en]te V. S. che voglia contentarsi d'operare che la M. S. Prego pertanto vivamente Vostra Serenità che voglia contentarsi d'operare che la Maestà Sua scriva a questa città ed al re di Danimarca con ogni maggior efficacia, mostrando che se da loro si compiacerà a questo mio desiderio, gli faranno cosa gratissima, e che con dispiacere sentirebbe che ad un'instanza così onesta non si fosse avuta quella considerazione che si conviene.
Mi persuado che Vostra Serenità, per far un'impresa tanto pia e per farmi goder gl'effetti di quella confidenza ch'io so di poter pigliar seco, s'adopererà ferventemente con Sua Maestà acciò le lettere siano efficaci e che mi giungano prontamente, affinché io abbia tempo sufficiente per tirar a fine questo negozio, del quale pregola di non dar fuori altra notizia, importando molto che il tutto passi sotto segretezza; e quando succeda bene, come voglio sperare, n'avrà ella da me subito l'avviso perché possa liberamente comunicarlo a chi le parerà; e se li miei tentativi riusciranno inutili, potrà Vostra Serenità testificar almeno ch'io non ho trascurato di contribuir a ciò quanto mi è stato possibile. Désirant, pendant le temps où mes affaires m'obligeront à séjourner dans ces pays, m'appliquer également au bien des catholiques qui s'y trouvent en leur procurant, autant que possible, la commodité du libre exercice de notre religion, tant dans cette ville qu'au Danemark, je crois pouvoir grandement faciliter l'accomplissement de mon intention si ceux de Sa Majesté Catholique s'ajoutaient à mes fonctions. Je prie donc vivement Votre Sérénité de bien vouloir faire en sorte que Sa Majesté écrive à cette ville et au roi de Danemark avec d'autant plus d'efficacité, leur montrant que, si mon désir leur est agréable, ils lui rendront un service des plus agréables, et qu'il regretterait qu'une demande aussi sincère ne soit pas prise en considération.

Eftersom jag önskar, under den tid mina angelägenheter tvingar mig att stanna i dessa länder, även ägna mig åt de katoliker som finns där genom att så mycket som möjligt för dem tillgodose bekvämligheten av att fritt utöva vår religion både i denna stad och i Danmark, tror jag att jag i hög grad skulle kunna underlätta uppfyllandet av min avsikt om Hans Katolska Majestäts tjänster lades till mina tjänster. Desiring, during the time that my affairs oblige me to stop in these lands, to apply myself also to the benefit of the Catholics who are there by procuring for them as much as I can the convenience of the free exercise of our religion both in this city and in Denmark, I would think that I could greatly facilitate the fulfillment of my intention if those of His Catholic Majesty were added to my offices. I therefore earnestly beg Your Serenity to content yourself to work so that His Majesty writes to this city and to the King of Denmark with all the greater effectiveness, showing that if they will be pleased with this my desire, they will do him a most welcome thing, and that he would feel with regret that such an honest request were not been given the consideration that is due.
I persuade myself that Your Serenity, to undertake such a pious undertaking and to let me enjoy the effects of that confidence that I know I can take with you, will fervently work with His Majesty so that the letters are effective and that they reach me promptly, so that I have sufficient time to bring this affair to a conclusion, of which he begs not to give out any further information, it being very important that everything be kept secret; and if it goes well, as I hope, you will have immediate notice from me so that you can freely communicate it to whoever you like; and if my attempts prove useless, Your Serenity will be able to at least testify that I have not neglected to contribute to this as much as was possible for me. You will also receive the letter for His Majesty; and without further ado, I wish you every felicity, etc.
