Nous faisons savoir que par faveur et grâce, ainsi qu'en considération du fidèle service que l'intendant des licences, le bien né Laurent von Brobergen, Nous a rendu pendant treize ans et sera désormais obligé de rendre, Nous avons accordé et donné par la présente, par le pouvoir de cette Notre lettre ouverte, accordons et concédons à Laurent von Brobergen et à son épouse deux arpents de terrain sur la village Réo sur Ösel, dont le colonel Jacques von Hargen devait autrefois posséder et jouir, utiliser et jouir librement pendant toute sa vie et celle de sa femme, pour toutes les dépenses sortantes, après quoi tous ceux qui sont concernés agiront conformément, pour Notre bien. Ils ne doivent ajouter et n'ajouteront aucun préjudice, obstacle ou préjudice audit Laurent von Brobergen et à son épouse, maintenant ou dans les temps futurs. En foi de quoi, Nous l'avons signé de Notre propre main et l'avons fait confirmer par l'apposition de Notre Sceau Royal. De Rome, le 9 juillet 1671.

Kristina Alexandra, Queen.
We make known that out of favour and grace, as well as in regard to the faithful service which the licence steward, the well-born Lorentz von Brobergen, has rendered to Us for thirteen years and shall hereafter be obliged to render, We have bestowed and given, as we hereby, by the power of this Our open letter, bestow and grant to Lorentz von Brobergen and his wife two acres of land in the village of Reo on Ösel, which Colonel Jacob von Hargen formerly had, to possess, enjoy, use and enjoy freely during his and his wife's lifetime, for all the outgoing expenses, after which all who are concerned will and shall act in accordance, for Our sake. They must not add and shall not add any harm, obstacle or prejudice to the said Lorentz von Brobergen and his wife now or in future times. For further assurance, We have signed this with Our own hand and had it confirmed with the pressing of Our Royal Signet. From Rome, July 9, 1671.

Notes: Ösel is the old German and Swedish name for the Estonian island of Saaremaa.
Reo is a village in what is now Saaremaa Parish in Saare County, located on the above-mentioned island.
