... Stockholm, May 12, 1654. Whitelocke's and Beuningen's audience; the former received gifts, the latter did not. — Two councilmen's claims to the position of grand marshal. Johan Oxenstierna's words about Schlippenbach. — Beginning of the Riksdag and the Queen's self-made proposition. — The Hereditary Prince is expected.
