La perdita del Sig[no]r Pr[inci]pe Aless[andr]o fr[atell]o di V. A. e stata Sentita da me con di[s]piacere corri[s]p[ondent]e al cordiale affe[tt]o con cui [...] prendo parte à tutti gli auuenimenti della sua Casa: Compatisco p[er]o [...] con tutto l'animo il giusto dolore dell'A. V. e ringraziandola delle cortesi espress[io]ni, con le quali m'hà [...] specificato q[uest]o funesto accid[ent]e resto pregando Dio che la ristori con altre co[n]solat[io]ni, e prosperita es[s]endo di V A.

Compatisco però con tutto l'animo il giusto dolore dell'Altezza Vostra, e ringraziandola delle cortesi espressioni con le quali m'ha specificato questo funesto accidente, resto pregando Dio che la ristori con altre consolazioni e prosperità, essendo di Vostra Altezza...

Jag har av hela mitt hjärta medlidande med Ers Höghets rättfärdiga smärta, och genom att tacka Er för de tillmötesgående uttryck som Ni har använt för att underrätta mig om denna ödesdigra händelse, ber jag Gud att han skall reparera den genom att trösta Er och välsigna Er med välmåga, som jag är Ers Höghets
