Johannes Matthiæ's diary report entry on on Kristina and Eleonora Katarina having recited two Latin speeches, dated December 7, 1639

The diary entry:

Die 7. Decembris recitavit Regina Orationem Alexandri ad Legatos Darii ex Libr. IV. Curtii. Princeps verò declamavit Orationem Parmenionis ad Alexandrum ex eodem libro, Nycopiæ.

French translation (my own):

Le 7 décembre, la reine a récité le discours d'Alexandre aux ambassadeurs de Darius du quatrième livre de Curce. La princesse a récité véritablement le discours de Parménion à Alexandre du même livre, à Nycopie.

Swedish translation (my own):

Den 7 december reciterade drottningen Alexanders tal till Darius' ambassadörer från Curtius' fjärde bok. Prinsessan reciterade sannerligen Parmenions tal till Alexander från samma bok, i Nyköping.

English translation (my own):

On December 7, the Queen recited Alexander's speech to Darius's ambassadors from the fourth book by Curtius. The Princess verily recited the Parmenion's speech to Alexander from the same book, at Nyköping.
