Johannes Matthiæ's diary report entry on Kristina and Eleonora Katarina having recited two Latin speeches, dated March 30, 1639

Die 30. Martii memoriter recitata sunt duæ Orationes ex Salustio: una Casaris, à Principe Eleonora: altera Catonis, à Reginâ ipsâ.

French translation (my own):

Le 30 mars, deux discours de Salluste furent récités de mémoire: l'un de César, de la princesse Éléonore; l'autre par Caton, de la reine elle-même.

Swedish translation (my own):

Den 30 mars reciterades två tal från Sallust ur minnet: ett av Caesar, från prinsessan Eleonora; den andra av Cato, från drottningen själv.

English translation (my own):

On the 30th of March two speeches from Sallust were recited from memory: one by Caesar, from Princess Eleonora; the other by Cato, from the Queen herself.
