Johannes Matthiæ's diary report entry on Kristina and Eleonora Katarina having recited two Latin speeches, dated May 18, 1639

The diary entry:

Die 18. Maji habuit Regina Orationem Mutii Scævolæ ad Porsennam Clusinum Regem: Princeps autem recitavit querelas ac lamentationem Lucretiæ ad Virum, Patrem & Amicos, de violatione.

French translation (my own):

Le 18 mai, la reine eut le discours de Mucius Scævola au roi Porsenna de Clusium: et la princesse récita les plaintes et les lamentations de Lucrèce à son mari, son père et ses amis, concernant sa violation.

Swedish translation (my own):

Den 18 maj höll drottningen Mucius Scævolas tal till konung Porsenna av Clusium: och prinsessan reciterade Lucretias klagande och jämrande till sin man, far och vänner, angående hennes våldtäkt.

English translation (my own):

On the 18th of May the Queen had the speech of Mucius Scævola to the King Porsenna of Clusium: and the Princess recited the complaints and lamentations of Lucretia to her husband, father, and friends, concerning her violation.
