Santini Estant Malade Je Vous acuse Vos Lettres avec toutte[s] Les dépesches que J'ay bien Receu, Je feray Examiner Vos Comptes et Les Confronter avec Ceux des Provinces Et du gouv:r g:l Et [Je] Vous donneray Vos descharges accoustumés En bonne forme ausi tost Dieu Vous Conserve.

Étant malade, je vous accuse vos lettres avec toutes les dépêches que j'ai bien reçu. Je ferai examiner vos comptes et les confronter avec ceux des provinces et du gouverneur général, et [je] vous donnerai vos décharges accoutumés en bonne forme aussitôt. Dieu vous conserve.

Rom, den 9 april 1689.

Santini,

Eftersom jag är sjuk, erkänner jag Era brev till Er med alla depescherna som jag har fått. Jag kommer att få Era räkenskaper granskade och jämförda med provinsernas och generalguvernörens räkenskaper, och jag skall genast ge Er Era sedvanliga depescher i god form. Gud bevare Er.

Santini,

Being ill, I acknowledge your letters to you with all the dispatches that I have received. I will have your accounts examined and compared with those of the provinces and the governor general, and I will give you your customary discharges in good form immediately. God preserve you.

Note: Although I have seen other letters from the same period, when I encountered this particular one in mid-October 2023, it was suddenly a haunting feeling to find that Kristina wrote it just a few weeks before her/his/their passing.
