Vi have ock befallat residenten Durell att han ock hos konungen i Danmark sig häröver skall besvära och driva därpå, att så den våldsamhet må tillbörligen bliva ivrad och ressenterad och Våra undersåtare efter Riksens pacta vara fria i danska och norska hamner till deras personer, skepp och gods. English translation (my own):

Our favour, etc. You see, resident Appelboom, from the enclosed copy what violence has been inflicted on Our subjects in a Norwegian port by a Dutch privateer that has robbed and carried off two cloths belonging to Our subjects; so, at the present time, such injustice and nuisance are in no way worth Our suffering, wherefore it is hereby Our gracious will and command that you trouble yourself with the States General with zeal and seriousness about this highly prejudicial act, and not only should Our subjects thereby obtain satisfaction for the damage, but also for the violence and insolence committed against them and their ships and goods by the due and severe punishment of the privateer and his associates.
We have also commanded Resident Durell that he should also trouble himself with the King of Denmark about this and push for it, so that the violence may be duly resented and Our subjects, according to the pacts of the Realm, be free in Danish and Norwegian ports as to their persons, ships and goods.
