L'estremità, alla quale Si ritroua ridotta hora la Nazione Hebrea habitante in Austria per il bando dello sfratto generalé di essa, mi pare tanto miserabile, é degna di compatimento Si in considerat[io]ne del gran numero delle famiglie che si Suppongono 20.m come p[er] il tropo bréue termine prescrittogli, e p[er] altri rispetti i quali meritano riguardo, che non hò potuto ricusare la mia intercessione appr[esso] la M. V. C. à chi me l'hà richiesta in aiuto della med[esim]a Nazione. Vengo p[er] tanto à pregarla con quella confidenza che mi Si p[er]mette dal cordial affetto, che la M V. L'extrémité dans laquelle se trouve réduite la nation hébraïque vivant en Autriche en raison de l'interdiction de son expulsion générale me semble à la fois misérable et digne de compassion, tant en considération du grand nombre de familles, qui sont censées être au nombre de 20 000, et à cause du délai trop court qui lui est prescrit, et pour d'autres égards qui méritent considération, que je n'ai pu refuser mon intercession auprès de Votre Majesté Impériale, à ceux qui me l'ont priée en faveur de la même nation.
Je viens donc la prier avec cette confiance que me permet l'affection cordiale que Votre Majesté Impériale m'a témoignée en toutes occasions, qu'il lui plaise dans ma grâce de réfléchir avec sa bonté sur le précipice de ces misérables gens et de se mouvoir avec compassion pour eux en travaillant pour qu'ils ne soient pas privés des privilèges dont ils ont joui et qui leur ont été conservés pendant tant de siècles, leur permettant de vivre en Autriche comme [...] ou du moins que l'exécution de l'interdiction à leur encontre est suspendue pour un certain temps encore. The extremity to which the Hebrew nation living in Austria now finds itself reduced due to the ban on its general eviction seems to me to be both miserable and worthy of compassion both in consideration of the large number of families, which are supposed to number 20,000, and because of the too short term prescribed to it, and for other respects which deserve consideration, that I have not been able to refuse my intercession before Your Imperial Majesty, to those who have begged me for it in aid of the same nation.
