Excerpt summary of Peder Vibe's letter to Christoffer Urne, the Grand Chancellor of Denmark, and the government of Denmark in Copenhagen, dated March 27/April 6 (Old Style), 1652

Source:

Handlingar rörande Sverges historia, volume 1, page 93, published by Anders Fryxell, 1836
The letter summary:

... [Stockholm] 27 Mars 1652. Drottningens sorg för den Pålske prinsen. ...

With modernised spelling:

... [Stockholm] 27 mars 1652. Drottningens sorg för den polske prinsen. ...

English translation (my own):

... Stockholm, March 27, 1652. The Queen's grief for the Polish prince.

Above: Kristina.

Above: Peder Vibe.

Above: Christoffer Urne.

Note: King Jan II Kazimierz of Poland's wife Marie Louise Gonzaga had given birth to a son, Jan Zygmunt, on January 6, 1652. Kristina was going to be the baby's godmother, but he sadly passed away at just one month old on February 20.
